The Sun/Moon is in my 1st House.

I don't think I've sufferred any severe trauma in early life, however, I'd say I haven't really experienced much affection from other's. So, perhaps I don't know how to show it because I haven't properly received it. And thus learnt how to express my emotions. Although descriptions of me as a baby were the same, quite "stoic" disposition.

And I don't mind being this way necessarily, but everyone else seems to have a problem with it. They think I'm angry, or plotting against them, or hiding something etc... I've come to realise if you show no vulnerability or reveal intimate parts of you, people feel insecure around you, and start imagining up a fantasy of who you are.

I have a serious approach to life, and my controlled emotions allows me to remain detached, objective, and disciplined, optimising for strategic manouvering. But beneath the surface there is a flood of passion, I just feel disgusted with letting other's see it. And the subsequent "coldness" in my face scares people off to where I'm either abandoned or feared by them, causing me to lose opportunities and friendships abruptly, with no explanation. If they got to know me they'd describe me as warm and "kindhearted" but relations with others rarely get to this stage.

It's not that I want to change, but I want other's to be more willing to "tune into my frequency". Cos I think I'm pretty cool lol. But I don't know if this is an astrological problem or what.

Yes, this happens and the fact that you are aware of how this dynamic works means that you are capable of controlling this and mature enough to manage your relationships in a real way. I had some incidents of this kind in my life, being slandered as some very cold hearted man, and funny enough, had to enact this on them by putting boundaries and putting people in their place, and the outcome of this was people then transcending the polarity into being very supportive and loving, which showed their weak character and simple animal mind.

With Moon in the first, as you understand how you are perceived, you are capable of perceiving the person who sees you, and as you can have this empathic ability, you can understand, what this person is concerned about. It is true, and it isn't a question of fakeness or "being real", neither manipulation, but you have to adjust to each person and see that the relationship has as little misunderstandings or conflicts as possible, since you have the superiority of holding this power of perception and magnetic/electric reach on the people.

Another aspect of this is to not shy away from your power of presence, but learn to diminish when needed, out of security, self-interest which sometimes always coincides with a common interest in extreme cases. Do not fall in traps of guilt trip and things like that, as you have a firm heart and mind, proceed with your nature and don't care so much about how the majority of the people in existence falsely can perceive of you, which can be beneficial externally sometimes and not much internally.

Thank you for your response @NakedPluto very relatable. I've had to door slam my fair share of people, namely parasites and the untrustworthy. They always act deferrential when they realise you're not the type to put up with their usual shit. A lot of false smiles. What monkeys do to show they're harmless so you'll leave them alone.

The presence thing is something I'll have to learn. I have the mind of a leader, but work much better as "the number 2". My energy is far too calm for it and to regularly motivate the "troops", but I would like to learn how to channel it momentarily for certain occasions similar to the Fuhrer.

The problem is, though, I am very perceptive of others intentions and feelings, and in understanding their motivations/grievances but there is a lack of desire to respond to these things emotionally, which bothers people. I prefer to approach conversations in relation to the thinking functions (e.g. to offer solutions or ideas, insights etc.) so there is just this mismatched wavelength.

But I will try to employ your advice and be more adaptable + present + dominating and see how others respond to me instead. I think the key is to just be more "systematic" with my social interactions, emotions, responses etc. to achieve a desired aim such as positive social outcomes.

It is possible that in your past life you were attacked or somehow experienced negativity for showing emotions, which may explain your disgust for showing it, which would only happen if you believed you had something to gain, subconsciously, by hiding the emotion rather than showing.

Because the Moon is in the 1st house, I think this is on display to others, so they are actually "viewing" you "hiding" the emotions directly. Since emotions go both ways, meaning that we all want to give and receive love and care, then someone else may believe you might hide this from them, like a one-sided interaction. That is my assumption here.

There is benefit to controlling emotions, but not to the extent that you are hurt for not showing them, which defeats the point. Furthermore, a lack of expression can lead to a build up of passion/emotion that would not exist if it was released at more frequent interviews.

My advice, aside from a Moon Square, would be to try simple statements such as telling others: "I feel [happy/bad/sad]", only pushing yourself a little beyond your boundary, but no need to elaborate to a full depth. Similarly, ask people how they feel, and in most cases you can respond with: "I understand." which is true, but you don't need to show the full depth just yet. Doing this could help build up comfort in this area.

Although you might feel frustrated by feeling forced to show vulnerabilities or feelings you would otherwise hide, there are benefits here. For example, if you did not share this problem with us, we would have had no idea or ability to discuss it with you.

The Moon in the 1st can give sensitivities about the self. Being in the 1st house, this is the house of Aries, so it can create sensitivity about the "Aries" dynamic about you. It is also possible that there are other aspects to this which can give trouble as well, like aspects to Pluto or Saturn, but I think the Moon being here is enough to potentially show some negative karma on the Aries/Libra axis.

Yeah, most of this is pretty accurate tbh. I've seen myself on video a few times, and ngl I do look so suspicious hahaha. Like I am lying or hiding something, or angry.

I've kinda realised people just treat you basically how you treat them. If you show warmth, they extend warmth back. They are mirrors. Only it looks fake when I do it, because it's more of a deliberate/contrived thing in my case rather than a natural occurence.

And hmm, with the build-up thing, yeah, after a while I start to crave social interaction and it actually feels like my emotions are "leaking out of the bottle cap" and I behave quite cringeworthy or desperate for validation. Or talking too much. But also, it gets me into trouble such as arguments with Xians, but in a positive sense it gets me fired up to try and "change the world" as well.

With Moon in 1st, I kinda have an obsession with being perfect physically and spiritually. I feel embarassed to walk interact with others if I am not perfect or close to it, for some reason. Like I was embarassed to talk to Father Satan for 2 months because my chakras were weak and I got fat, which I knew was dumb but did it anyway. Sometimes it's a good thing, because I always perform the best compared to everyone in literally every area of life (except 1st House related shit and some money problems and romance stuff).

Also, I am currently doing an Aries square. Do you think that will interact with it negatively?

And thank you for your in-depth responses. I didn't expect it. They were very helpful.
