Question #4293: Astarte Ritual and Feeling Away (a little long, pardon me)

I feel distant from the Gods nowadays. I'm not sure if I'm distant or they're distant from me. Is there such a thing as them getting distant?

I'm doing my meditations, I've got my life in order, but some psychological wear and tear is hitting me, maybe it's the effect of that, I'm not sure. It feels bad to feel distant from the Gods at this very moment.

Yesterday I was feeling really bad, then I read HPS's sermon and decided to do the Astarte ritual. I thought I would feel better after doing the ritual, but maybe I didn't get as much reaction from Lady Astarte as I expected. Looking at the comments, it seems that everyone who has done the power ritual seems to have very noticeable effects, so maybe the excessive expectation affected me badly. I told Astarte a lot of things in a crying attack, I hope she will help, but I feel bad.

Three things happened during and after the ritual:

-Especially at the beginning of the ritual there was warmth in my solar chakra.

-After the ritual my left foot was warm, not burning warm, but you can think of it as not being cold. My right foot was cold. It was normal that my right foot was cold, because the weather was cold, but my left foot was not cold. I also felt something in my feet and legs the last time I called out to Satan, what could that be an indication of?

-I think they had trimmed the tall plants on my street, because all the sidewalks were full of green leaves and grass. Also, it seemed like all the plants around my house were greener today. Is it a placebo or a possible effect?

Perhaps it is because you have not opened your 3 eyes enough, or have been too immersed in your own dialog, your own experiences of your problems, complaints and tears.



This is not a bad thing, but it could and most likely has prevented you from feeling the energy more strongly.

You don't seem to have an aversion to the Gods in any way, so I'll tell you that "detachment" isn't exactly detachment.
The emptiness you feel could be the Will, which makes you respect the Gods to the point of "isolating" yourself in search of greater power and greater truth and infinite understanding.
Regardless of how you feel, they will always be with you

Another thing, don't expect to feel or receive clear messages from the Gods. Don't expect it, you'll waste your time and then you'll feel very bad but you'll come back to the realization that "it doesn't matter" and you'll be fine again.
But look, the time you wasted crying to the Gods was too long.

Your emotions and expectations themselves can be hurting or limiting you here. This can come from social-based karma, which can involve genuine obstacles or other hindrances to your ability to relate to others, including increasing fears about them.

Try to keep a detached mindset and not remember this, not imaging the situation as worse than it really is. Keep doing their rituals, including meditating on their sigil and/or chanting their names. All of this connects them with you.

Don't worry too much about what other people write in regards to the effects of the rituals, as sometimes this can be overblown, or maybe it was simply different for you, but not in a bad way. However, noticing the green qualities of the world around you seems like a pretty good sign of her presence to me.

I was just like you. I didn't feel anything special.. that changed since the first necromicon third eye activation.
