Question #4059: Is it against Spiritual Satanism to hurt insects?

Is it against Spiritual Satanism to hurt insects?
If there is no reason to do so, why you would like to do it?

For a reason it’s nothing bad if it is a threat to you, but if you go to look for a insect to just hurt it or kill for no reason, this is time wasting and nonsense, and also I would say jewish.

No, it is not against killing insects. But against ignorance it is. One of the greatest offenses against the Gods is ignorance, stupidity and being a jerk.

A few years ago, there was a classmate of mine, who just to show off and be seen by others, tried to kill a bee. The bee had done absolutely nothing, just leaning on the small table outside.

This is an example of total stupidity, and the Joy of Satan is against this.

Killing insects is only okay to the extent that you are trying to defend yourself or other people (e.g., from an angry hornet) or your home (e.g., insect invasion) or your plantations (from imported insects that are deleterious).

If insects harm you, get rid of them.

For example, you can put a mosquito net (on the window) or make habitation unbearable for harmful insects if you are in your house.

É contra o Satanismo Espiritual ferir insetos?
I have killed and still kill ants, flies and other insects out of pure impulse.
I just see them and kill them, it's unconscious
Then I feel sad for the insect

Hmm, it was just a massive spider and I was scared to sleep seeing that shit near my bed, so I squashed it. Is this okay?

It's not about right or wrong to kill, but rather ask yourself, is it necessary to take this little creature's life away, because you're scared of it? Especially since most home spiders won't harm you in any way whatsoever?

It was fucking massive. Like the size of a fist. But I guess the better thing to have done is to throw it outside.

If your life is not in danger why kill someone? And even then, being smart and brave one can find a solution not to kill an animal. I saw a video of a Florida man luring a crocodile in a dumpster and hauling it next to some bushes then setting it free. Brave and smart.

I'm not sure it's right to kill an insect out of fear, but if you eat the spider after killing it, then I think you should be innocent.

Okay, seriously, I'm afraid of insects, too. But I was too scared to even kill an insect. Maybe you can get a cat, or some other animal that eats insects, so you can get your pets to help you kill them, so you don't have to worry about making a mistake by killing them.

You do know that spiders are not insects right? Next time just put a cup or jar over it, slide a piece of cardboard underneath and release it outside. When sliding the cardboard watch the legs and try not to do it too fast and panicky and hurt them in the process. All predatory "bugs" are your friends and keep the nasty ones in check, remember that.

I used to keep scorpions, mantises, centipedes, cockroaches and other invertebrates some of which can actually kill you. With respect and careful handling no harm ever came to either side.

Getting over any phobia is possible and there's much to gain from working on overcoming fear in general. The quality of your life will improve substantially.

Observe them and you'll see how amazing they are like all other forms of life (with the exception of some parasitoid alien species that make our existence more difficult than it has to be).
