If our mind and the way we perceive things is wrong, then we cannot escape from the situation in which we are wrong.
For example, if we are incapable of feeling pain, even if our leg becomes gangrenous, we don't feel it, and then we lose the leg.
If we apply this to the mind and spirituality, can you suggest spiritual practices to prevent this?
In other words, a general spiritual work, square, etc. that prevents mental blindness, perceptual distortions and the damages that will arise from this.
When you do spiritual work, your perceptions will shift. This can occur in an indirect manner, or direct. For example, maybe you work on your upper chakras and this leads to more insights. In a more direct way, you do a working specific to Mars, and this shifts your perceptions of Mars-related rulerships.
We will always have some degree of mental blindness, so it is not something you should seek to totally eliminate all at once, but rather seek to prioritize areas where you have the most difficulty. Also, not all problems come from the mental realm specifically, like with the Mars example. Your GD will help you here, and you can ask them to remind you of problem areas.
Runes like Ansuz work well for changing karma because they create changeability within reality, including within our perceptions. With this in mind, you could do a freeing working targeting your "most damaging karmic behaviors", and this would address your initial concern.
Both the upper and lower chakras are needed for perception of reality, but the upper are generally more insightful than the bottom. Therefore, you could work with runes or planetary energies pertaining to this, such as Laguz or Berkano for sensitivity, Mannaz or Dagaz for mental realizations and comprehension, Perthro for perception of cause and effect, Kenaz for proper studying/enlightenment on a matter, etc. Regarding the lower chakras, Sowilo and Raidho help understand honor and justice, Thurisaz for threat perception and division of things, Nauthiz for proper prioritization, and so on.
