Many are not real, but the astral realm is full of evil entities. Exactly like in this world there are so many evil people who would harm others for no reason whatsoever, in the astral realm as well there are countless entities who damage whoever comes in contact with them.

The common opinion is that these entities only harm those who look for them, those who get involved in the Occult etc. but this is not the case at all. There are so many average and clueless people who get attacked relentlessly, they get vampirized, and all sorts of misfortunes happen to them due to these attacks. People think that if one "ignores" all of this, then somehow all of this will disappear, but this is not the case at all.

That's why spiritual protection and Meditation are so important. All those who are without this Knowledge can fall victim to any person or entity that is more powerful than they are at any moment.
