Well, I agree with Larissa here. I cannot really say what these are, but here are some possibilities that could explain such sightings...
Meteors for one, also known as shooting stars, causes a streak of light as they burn up due to friction with the air. They often appear suddenly, move swiftly across the sky, and then disappear. Meteor showers occur at specific times of the year when the Earth passes through debris trails left by comets. An example is the meteor shower Orionids, which occurs between 2 Oct - 7 Nov. Secondly, space debris from satellites or other objects in space can re-enter the Earth's atmosphere, causing them to burn up and create a streak of light similar to a meteor.
Thirdly, depending on various factors like distance, altitude, and lighting, airplanes can sometimes appear as bright, moving lights in the sky.
Of course, UFO's are a possibility, but these sightings are more rare than a regular sighting.
