We wasn't a Christian. Goebbels wrote that Hitler hated Christianity and wanted to remove it. The same in Hitler's private conversations, he was staunchingly against Christianity, even said that both the Old Testament and the New Testament are the same jewish swindle.
The reason why in his public speeches he seemed to be pro-Christianity is that he was being diplomatic/political, just like Joe Biden who claims to be Catholic to get Christian voters as the majority in the US are Christian. Think: how long would he last and how much support would he get if he openly opposed xianity in a society that looked like today's US Bible Belt? He even wrote about it in his Mein Kampf, that a movement in his day could not last for long if it openly attacked Christianity.
His movement openly used Pagan symbols, like the Swastika, Runes and the Thor's hammer. They never used any christian cross or anything similar, but all of their symbols were Pagan/Satanic. The SS symbol for example is 2 Sowilo runes.
His actions were totally anti-Christian: he removed crosses from public places, replaced the bible with the Mein Kampf, he replaced the Christian holidays with Paganized versions of them (like calling Christmas Yuletide and celebrating it according to Germanic traditions) and even secularizing/paganizing Christmas songs. Google the song "Unto Us The Time Has Come", for example. It used to be a Christmas song, until the Nazis removed any references to Jesus or god in it, so that it read like a normal, secular song.
