Where do I start studying astrology? I've read the astrology part of the website, but honestly it's not that clear-cut

What is that? In the natal chart there is a part full of numbers, what are those? I feel dumb studying astrology, but at least I'm trying

That's just the degrees of the Sign at which the planet is on in the astrology chart. Each sign is 30 degrees wide. Looks like the Sun is in Aquarius which is also the Sun's sign of detriment which makes the influence of the Sun in that chart weaker.

Also the numbers might be telling you different aspects between the planets in the chart and how tight those aspects are. Websites like Astrodentist usually tell you if the planets are aspecting each other in a chart and also shows the orb degrees of how tightly those planets are in aspect to each other.

720 x 60 = 43,200

Now we subtract what remains.

720' - 59' = 661' Arc Minutes
661' - 34" = 660' Arc Minutes and 26" Arc Seconds (60 - 34 = 26)

Thus, The Sun has travelled 18° Degrees, 59' Arc Minutes and 34" Arc Seconds within Aquarius.
It needs to travel exactly 12° Degrees, 660' Arc Minutes and 24" Arc Seconds to reach Pisces.
