Hello, I have a rather serious problem that has haunted me since childhood, namely the problem with falling asleep, and sleep patterns. In my early childhood I used to spend nights in front of the console, and I did not sleep enough, it was reflected in the future, I tried to conscientiously observe the sleep schedule, finishing all the things in advance and going to bed early, but then there was another problem, namely the inability to fall asleep, With spiritual works this problem is periodically aggravated by raised energies, for example, I feel that I am about to fall asleep, I go to bed and feel my 6th chakra, the heat and vivacity comes on and I can lie like that till morning, it is very unpleasant.
Has anyone ever had anything like this and what is the best way to deal with it? My routine changes from night to daytime and I don't have any problems with that, but the problem with falling asleep is very unpleasant
What I've tried is.
Emptiness meditation - relaxes me at first, but then it gives me more energy, which makes me feel something in my head and gives me a burst of energy.
Sleeping pills are great for this problem, but I can't and don't want to take them, especially often.
Mint, lemon balm, various teas - sometimes help, sometimes not, with a hot shower or bath the same thing, sometimes it's as if it has the opposite effect)
It would be okay, but I become terribly absent-minded and irritable after that) Plus with such it is almost impossible to be socially/work etc., I have lost several good jobs just because I could not sleep the night before the interview or the first shift(
