On the night of May 10, 1933, the main square of the German capital is lit by a fire fueled by communist books or otherwise of jewish negative influential books.

Later that night a speech given by Joseph Goebbels took place that among many things stated:
"No to decadence and moral corruption!".

As many as 40,000 people were estimated to attend this event.
