Thanks [/IMG][/IMG][/IMG]But anyhow, here's a question I have been wondering: Is Eleggua (also spelled Elegua, Elewa, Elegba or Legba), the most important of the Orishas in Santeria, another name for Satan? Eleggua's colors are red and black. He is said to be present everywhere and at all times. Satan said in The Al Jilwah: "There is no place in the universe that knows not my presence."  Any thoughts?

I never understood what happened that night or why it happened to me but the memory has never left. I spent my life wondering. Who were they and what was that all about? For over twenty years since I was deathly afraid to sleep in the dark because of it. Even a few years later after that attack when I was about to be murdered, the man intending to do this to me asked me: Why aren't you afraid? I said: I've faced far worse than you...

I still wonder who the Being was that drove it off me that night. I assume now he was a Demon, since an enemy angel wouldn't have given a fuck or lifted a finger to help. I saw Him twice more in the years following, always when he comes it is to help/comfort and again, an enemy wouldn't do that....which makes me think I must have been a satanist in a past life....? I don't really know for sure of course, just trying to piece things together. When my GD decides to make himself known to me I will ask him.

My point being that was the most terrifying event of my life. Since then nothing scares me (well, ok, being alone in the dark did). It wasn't till after I dedicated (almost three months ago now) that I found peace, safety, able to turn the lights off at night and feel secure knowing Satan and the other demons wouldn't allow another attack like that. It was such a big deal that first night, I can't tell you, to actually be able to turn the lights off after over twenty fucking years...I laid there in the dark and cried and thanked Satan. I just feel so grateful to him as this has been a major source of torment for me and only He was able to lift it off me. Dedicate, don't wait. You'll be glad you did.

I am unsure if Satan is the same as Elegua. I haven't looked too much into the Orishas. You could ask your Guardian or Satan Himself to confirm it is Him, or if He is another God in that pantheon.If someone else knows, it would be fantastic if they could confirm this.

Yes, it is possible to have opened and have an active third eye in a past life and for it to have passed into this life.

Although, it won't really count for much if you haven't Dedicated yet. You need to Dedicate now or the enemy will probably try and threaten your life. You need to understand(and I say this for your own good) you will never get anywhere without Guidance from Satan. I know I didn't. I can give a personal testimony to it, but I'll leave that for later.

Just know that if you ever want to Spiritual Advance, and be an actual Satanist, then you need to Dedicate.

Thank you very much for your answer. And I have more questions I was born into a Catholic family I was baptized when about 6.but I'm the black sheep of my family. Does that effect anything. Becoming a satanist that is.

Hello I am new to Satanism I have been reading the joyofsatan webpage for 3 weeks. I have been a Pagan for a long time since I was in my early teens I am now 20. Do I still need to do the dedication ritual even though it says the demons are actually Gods and I may already be close to some of them?

I am psychic and meditate every day and have been doing it since before I found the JoS but the Satanic meditations are really helping me improve a lot.

Hello, welcome to the group I was also Pagan for almost a decade before finding Satan.
You do need to dedicate to Satan. The dedications shows you are serious about Spiritual Satanism. Also, once you are officially dedicated to Satan, he gives you his protection. When you are new and start opening your soul via the power meditations on JoS, the enemy will do anything they can to sway you from Satan. 
It is obviously your choice, but if you are serious about Satan and advancing yourself, dedicating is right thing to do. Many people here over the years have posted about the attacks they got from the enemy, only to state that they never bothered with the dedication ritual.

Also a lot of stuff on the exposingchristianity page was shocking. Can you believe many Pagans include Jesus as part of their practice in modern times. I will never look at that thing in the same way!

Hi Orion,
I don't know what it is you want help about. The truth is there to be read in Satan's Library. You have but to read. However, I think what you really want is for someone here to relate something to you. And so I will attempt to do so. In my case, I was lead to JOS by......I don't know, my Guardian, someone/something who literally said to me if you want to learn truth then go here. And gave me a link to one of HP MD's sermons about exposing Xianity. You are on the right path....to discover the fallacies of Xianity and be open enough to see through the lies....Good for you!

Thank you for this list! Being almost new to spiritual Satanism,  but not to spirituality, I'm reading and doing and want more. I have a hunger and a passion unlike I've ever felt that is consuming in a positive way. I want to learn everything, to become part of Satan's army, to do whatever He needs for our cause. I have performed the dedication and today am starting the 40 day meditation routine. 
There's much more to my story, but didn't want to go on like this. Just wanted to say thanks!

Hello all!

I'm currently reading my way through the entirety of the joy of Satan website. It's the only religion that has ever made sense to me. I'm in awe and so grateful I found this. I'm here to ask for some suggestions.

I feel that I am ready to dedicate myself to Satan. However at the moment I'm forced to be in a Christian environment for at least another year. Should I hold off on doing the dedication ritual? Or, if I do it but have to remain where I am, will Satan be disapppointed with me?

Hi, and welcome!If you feel ready to dedicate, do so, when you know you will absolutely not be disturbed. Satan understands our living situations when we live with Christians, and that they are not understanding or tolerant towards other religions, if that's the case with the other Christians you are living with or will be around.

Or you can try out the beginners' meditations and also do kundalini yoga, from the Meditations section on the Joy of Satan website.

Addition to what Magus said, if you feel compromised and cannot do the *real* dedication ceremony, consult the section [linked from the main JoS page] about dedicating in your astral temple. It's concerning youths for Satan.
