New Moon of November 04 and spiritual work

The new moon is in Scorpio, on the SS calendar we read that it is an auspicious time to begin a work of transformation, and favourable to the occult.

I would like to start a work that will improve my spiritual progression, that will help me to "transform" myself, the season is ideal for a work of symbolic death and rebirth and to pulverize the fears that prevent me from going further in the astral and our spirituality.

Which runes are suitable?
I had thought of : Ansuz, Sowilo, Lagur but maybe there is a more suitable rune?
Is there a specific mantra otherwise?

Eiws (#13) is the rune that most relates to Scorpio and the processes you described. Yama as a Vedic God does too, as does Nergal (one of the Sons of Satan).

Yama can be used both in that form and its invocation form (Aum Yamaya Svaha). Yama is also related to number 2, which is one of its meaning in Sanskrit, as well as 'twin'.

I am also beginning a working then. But I'll begin on the 5th as the the new moon is on the 5th (at least on 5th where I am). Mine will be about opening and strengthening my chakras. Anyway, wish you the best.

Obviously, choose whatever works for you. All other runes you chose tie into the goal anyway. I was adding rather correcting. I don't want to give the wrong impression. Great avatar!

Well, I really like vibrating runes. I recently completed a 40 day emotional release/fear/blockage work with Wunjo. I knew that this was not enough time to get over it.
My "strategy" is to act by degree/levels of clearing: do a big clearing on the mind, do a big clearing on the soul, do a big clearing on the physical afflictions. Then come back to each problem in a deeper, less generalized way.

In parallel to the deep cleansing (Vishuddi over 40 days, Sabbath of purification every Saturday, AoP, "standard" cleansing every day), to the work on the liberation of physical diseases (I am currently vibrating Thurisaz for that), I had a strong "intuition" while examining the SS calendar during Samhain:
"But yes, that's exactly right, there is no better time to die from this "Me" that is not really me and be reborn to more awareness and Verity, cleared of the dross of fear."

If I am rather reckless and fearless with Humans (an overdeveloped Mars), I have a lot of apprehension of the astral even though I have been attracted to this world since I was a little girl. The challenge is to get rid of this silly fear so that I can move forward, and understand, in depth the path of Satan.

My work will therefore be based on Eiws over 40 days in the first instance, with 104 vibrations (13 is its number, x 8), at another time than my Thurisaz vibration. And I am thinking about how to integrate the Yama mantra.

This is what I think is good for me, having several problematic levels to deal with, but this is just my personal case, maybe this is not the way to proceed.

I agree. Long hair even look good on him, which is not the case for most men. His face is, thankfully, shaven and his body is smooth, with a gymnast-like (=harmonious) silhouette as it should be. It's better than other alleged statues of him where his face looks too Indian to be White.

Like Stormblood said, anything pluto-related rules over deep transformations. You can use Eihwaz on its own, but I feel like combining it with other energies works well. I feel like Eihwaz opens up the soul to transform, then the other energy can be more easily integrated.

What this other rune or energy actually is, depends on your objectives. You should prioritize what you most need. Start by looking at your elements and what you are most lacking in, for example. Think of where you have had problems in life.

If you are trying to solve fears, then Sowilo plus Eihwaz would work well to make you more confident. You would do this on a waxing moon because you are adding this trait to yourself. Removing fears, through Ansuz or Munka, for example, should be done on a waning moon.

Well, to my surprise (I am also learning astrology from Maxine's PDF. Erf I lack so much time to do everything...), I am balanced in the elements. The one that has one number less is water, and I think it's not a good thing to increase water, is it?

Great surprise because this problem of fear of me, of the astral and of very specific phobias is strange.
I think it is related to the lives before. But it would take too long to explain here why I am convinced.

Vibrating Ansuz for 40 days was my very first spiritual work after I dedicated. For it is the rune of "God", the rune of Satan.
Sowilo seems to me very good with Eihwaz. The concern is the number of vibration, having already other works in progress and the program that arrives of spiritual war.. (translations and astrology...aie :'l

Don't go based on the number of planets in each element alone. This might be close to reality, but it can also be off as well. There are many reasons for this, mainly that you have to take into account everything in the chart. For example, certain aspects may weaken or increase the strength of an element. Also, having water in one planet may be great and powerful, but for another, it may seriously weaken it, for example.

I would pay attention to what each element does and means, from the description on the element's page. Then try to think about how you classify yourself. Obviously, your current state reflects all the factors within you. So if you feel very mentally active, for example, this could mean your air is higher.

You could also ask your GD to point you towards which element, planet, or chakra needs the most improvement.

I understand what you mean about phobias. It doesn't matter whether they came from this life or a past one, anyway. Karma is karma. Any of the mantras that destroy karma will help this, including Ansuz. If you have very specific fears, then this is likely karmic. If you feel fearful in general, then this reflects more of your elemental balance.

Unfortunately, running of time can be a problem. If you want to do a working for a problem you have, and perhaps a good date is coming up, but you are low on time, then you should simply do a smaller amount of reps, but extend it out for more days. That is all you really can do, and at least passing the 40-day mark will make your efforts permanent and worthwhile.

Is this also a good time to start a working for freeing the Soul?

Not November 4th when the moon becomes new, but right before when it is still waning is best. Scorpio pertains to deep transformations, but also detachment and endings. So it is good for removing any karma or problems that may be weighing your soul down.

Okay, I obviously don't have to limit myself to the number of planets in each element, I'm really stupid.

Well, I have a "T-square" (in French : T-carré") in a fixed sign with Uranus as Apex planet, and my sun (weakened since I am Aquarius..) in opposition to ....Saturn
I also have a "bucket" (in French : 1 "seau", 1 "baquet") and a powerful Mars (in his sign and house 1) and that rules a ..stellium.
My chart is a real mess, excuse the expression. And it distresses me.

My master is another planet. (So many rulers and co-rulers...).

Yes I systematically do a 40 days work (except my 2 solar squares, 36 days, and the square of Jupiter, 16 days)
