Need advise!

I currently study at a catholic school, now it is december and we are
nearing the xmas week our school likes to go all out with masses and
overly religious b.s. Now in my school we are forced to take the
communion or a blessing if we are unreligious or muslim. If i kicked up
a fuss about it and point-blanc refused i would be in a whole world of
trouble, so what do i do? a blessing is equally bad as the eucharist
isn't it?
If we don't sing the hymns our teachers pull us out to the front of the
hall and make us sing on our own, is that fair?
I'd duck out of school on those mass days but my school is notorious for
suprise masses, just as i think its lesson time we are diverted into the
assembly hall!

isn't it illegal for a school to force religion onto a kid, especially if its xian crap?
