Natal Chart: Do retrograde planets affect intercepted signs?

When planets in your natal chart are retrograde you will experience delays in life.

Following houses might experience delays:
1) The house where the Retrograde planet is positioned in.
2) The house(s) with the cusp on the ruling sign of the retrograde planet.

Now to my question, what if a house intercepts a sign? (Swallows a sign whole)

For example, let assume your Jupiter is Retrograde and is strong in your chart.

Let's say Sagittarus is intercepted by the 5th house.
Will this house experience delays, or will it not be affected at all?

From my understanding intercepted signs influence the house which interceps it as well -> thus if your 1st house intercepts a sign, you receive additional Co-Rulers according to the intercepted sign.

So if I were a betting man, I would say it still affects intercepted signs, however, maybe not as strong as houses with the cusp of the Home-Sign of the Retrograde planet.
