Are you sure about what you write about Aristotle? I'm not very knowledgeable about philosophy but from the little I've read about him he considered form inseparable from matter. And that one cannot exist without the other so basically from what I understand if the spiritual part is form and the physical part is matter, Aristotle's ideas anticipate those of Epicurus. If I am wrong please correct me.

But basically what you write does not prevent anyone from advancing spiritually and doing the RTRs and other practical things that are done on JoS. So I don't understand either your urgency to assert your ideas or that of other users in disproving them.

Whitecloud is confusing Aristotle for Socrates in the Paidon dialogue of Plato. Aristotle's idea of the soul was basically similar to the JoS.

Totally, it is not true that Aristotle was executed either.

And this "God" that created the universe and nature is a jew, right? Give it a rest. God IS the universe, God IS nature. This is represented by the Greek God of Nature Pan, and that's why we use the word "pan" for things that are universal or widespread, like "PAN-demic" or "PAN-continental." The universe is not a conscious being, it is represented by the "primordial waters" from which everything spawns. Just as we came from these primordial waters, we can likewise return there if we don't meditate. After that, the energy released from the dying soul gets recycled by the universe. Even when a new being was formed from this recycled energy, it would not be "you." It would be an entirely new soul and being, and that soul would not belong to you because there would be no "you" anymore. Furthermore, the primordial waters/universe has always existed and always will, and nothing precedes it, nor did anything create it. If you can't yet wrap your mind around this concept then you should meditate more - it was one of the great ancient mysteries for a reason.

(Others can feel free to correct me if I got some things wrong or oversimplified, but this is my understanding of it from the sermons I have read)
