and its just my own opinion, myopia is not big deal so tell him to learn healing magicks etc. if someone isnt meditating for himself/herself, why would someone do for him/her? if they dont give efford for themselves, you shouldnt do much for them too. its not about motivating them or showing them truth. but for years, i never do any magic for someone else. if its not urgent etc. people should be selfish because having good magic skills is not easy. it takes even years.

I was using Near far shifting eye excercise for a while. Start by contracting and relaxing the eye muscles in the eye while switching from long and short distance objects covering one and using one eye at a time. I find it helpful and there's videos online on how to do it. Try it for 40 days without skipping

Trataka yoga is wonderful, I used to do it and it improved the accuracy of my vision, using eye drops without preservatives is also important

Perhaps myopia can be improved or cured with healing work (green energy), I've never tested it but it's a possibility
