This Monday the Moon will be waxing in Pisces. Since there is no date for a moon square in the near future, can I start a moon square on this date to increase my astral senses and psychic openness? Will it be powerful and effective?

This Monday the Moon will be waxing in Pisces. Since there is no date for a moon square in the near future, can I start a moon square on this date to increase my astral senses and psychic openness? Will it be powerful and effective?

It would be ok, however also recognize that the December Esbat will be in Cancer, and this would be a better date, in my opinion, despite not being on a Monday.

The moon rules emotional stability, patience, nurturing, and related bodily functions, which are separate from just astral openness. Neptune rules these other aspects of astral sensation, so perhaps the Pisces Moon would be better. However, since you are doing a Moon Square, I would still aim for the Esbat date, which I believe would be stronger.
