Moon - A Poem in Honor of Lady Lilith
"The soldiers who come to the door knock on the door,
Fear, interrupts the night.
Inside the room, inside your soul, there is someone who wants to die,
Inside the room, inside his body, there is someone who is in love with a gentle person,
There's someone in the room who thinks he's alive but doesn't know he's not.
I think of my mother.
I call out to my mother Lilith, "Dispel the darkness before my eyes."
I see the moon rising in the sky,
And I wake up from this dream,
And I keep thinking about my mom. Suddenly there's another knock on the door.
If it weren't for you, would flowers bloom in my soul,
Would I still be standing?
Would the sun still rise?
Would the earth still be spinning?
Would I have a hand to hold with my eyes closed?
If it weren't for you...
Would the moon rise in the sky?"
