Moderation problem

I’m getting tired of a moderator here who is not allowing my posts I am quite aware of it, others get posted but mine doesn’t I have screenshotted it to tell HP HC666 so he will look into who is doing this to me! Just so you know!

This is not personal. Your messages go into a queue and they are approved in order alongside everyone else, which may explain why you see others' messages going up before yours. If there was a problem with your post, it would either be deleted or edited and usually you would receive a message about what was wrong with it.

Like most accounts, your posts are held to be reviewed before they are posted. To prevent people from posting bad things, and then since you are not breaking any rules and you are not doing anything bad, all of your posts are then approved and posted.

This is the process for most people. This used to be the process for all people, but there are some people who have earned the trust from years of good work that we are trusted to make our own posts without needing to be approved. You will earn this too in time. This is why you see these people are able to post instantly.

Yes most of my posts has been posted, but I get mine delayed, they approved it after 2 hours! I do know what I’m talking about, if you look at the screenshot you will see mine is still not approved the next person underneath me was, and I can tell you it was over 2 hours, I have had a few posts deleted not posted, I ignored it, one time I spoke up, but this time I was going to take the screenshot and prove it! I don’t know who doesn’t like me here, I must have got on their nerves or something

The post of mine was accepted after 2 hours, does it take two hours to think whether my post is postable, that person doesn’t like me, I’ve gotten on their nerves obviously, I have not done anything to anyone directly so I don’t know what their problem is with me frankly I would like the person to private message and tell me all about it, courage is a good thing

There is no need to screenshot anything since nothing out of the ordinary is happening with your posts. Nobody would delete your posts just because they 'don't like you', that's not how things work. Your post would only be deleted if it broke the forum rules. If you didn't write anything weird and this was not the case with the posts you believe were deleted, then perhaps there was a glitch in your browser when you attempted to post. Nobody here acts out of spite, we operate based on rules and organization.

So it is plainly obvious that even though you replied to me, you did not read what I wrote. It would help your understanding if you actually read this reply.

You're posts, like most other users, are going through this manual approval process.

Henu's post went through immediately without ever being manually approved, because Henu has earned the privilage of not needing anybody to manually approve his posts. He can post immediately with no approval, and that is why his was posted immediately. After many years of service and proving that he is very helpful and will never post anything bad, he is now trusted to not need anybody checking him.


2 hours waiting for approval is a great improvement over what it was years ago. This shows the people doing this work are doing very well. Years ago, it could take 8 hours or more. You are not a victim and you are not being treated any differently than 95% of users.

There is no problem here, as like I said you would've already been informed if there was. No, the moderators, including myself, do not take 2 hours to decide. Instead, we may be working on something else, or even eating and sleeping, then we return and check the forums and clear the queue. We are not constantly approving posts 24/7 because there are other things we need to work on as well. It is not a personal issue at all.

Mods are not robots. We need time to sleep and eat, meditate, do rituals, and everything else in our lives. There are other things in life we must tend to, yet I still moderate multiple times a day, as do some of the other mods, yet we cannot cover all 24 hours in a day.

It is nothing personal. If anything was not approved it's because it was against forum rules. Ol Argedco explained about why other member's posts go through immediately. Nobody is holding a grudge against you, we simply need to sleep and tend to other things in our lives, like everybody else. Posts used to take nearly a full day to be approved years ago, so waiting 2 hours is nothing.

Nobody was keeping your posts back or censoring them or whatever. Next time when people are doing Ritual, or there are threads like this, respect this and please post on another thread. This is for Astarte and one cannot be shouting on Her honorary post over nonsense. Threads like this are oriented to to not write irrelevant things in them just because one "cannot hold it". It's a matter of respect.

Generally this behavior is common because people feel their "freedom" is for any place; that doesn't mean one is free that just means one is not controlling themselves and puts their own perceived issue about other things which are evidently more important. You have sent me an e-mail and a message, like it was a matter of the degree that some city was nuked or something and it required immediate attention. You have been answered, all is OK.

I am moving all these threads to another place later on when I get online again. Do not take the above personally it's not an insult, I just mention this for general reference.

It will get even better, we will increase more the number of moderators, so mods are online 24/7.

More than a decade ago at the Yahoo Groups, I would wait 2 days to get a message through.
