No they are not real. There was a movie made by Discovery Channel that was made to look like a documentary, but all of it was a lie. The guy that they said is a scientist is really an actor that has been in several movies.


Mermaids are a symbol for the soul's energy flowing through the body, and the energy flowing very strongly through the legs and into the base chakra. The energy can flow so strongly it is like flowing water. So somebody made a symbol that it may be like a fish tail flowing in the water.

This sounds very true, interesting!

Especially as the activation of the sacral chakra happens, and the "waters" are open, the whole lower body and legs have a feeling of well being and comfortable flow that can be equated to swimming in the ocean. When it is more intense, this has a lot of sense to illustrate it that way.
