Making sure

Yesterday while i was meditating on energy, thoughts started coming that i thought werent mine ( idk why i just thought so) and when i asked who this was the  answer was '' i am your friend'' I asked this ''friend'' to pledge allegiance to Satan and there was a hesitation but it did. I asked for a name and he said Azazel , but i think i am making this up and that no demon connected with and just that i am making this up. Is there any way to check if i am actually communicating  with some entity or talking to myself? ( except experience of course) HAIL SATAN!!!
