If you make a valuable, informative comment on a post that is in itself is not valuable, for example it is just a question, than you are better to make your comment a topic right away.

Do this if you want your comment/article in the library. Comments, that are a comment to a not valuable post, will possible never be in the library. Like a question or something.
Valuable articles and it's valuable comments (that are related to the original topic) will go to the library anyways, so you don't have to make a topic out of your comment that is a comment to a valuable post.
However, if your valuable comment that is a comment to a valuable post isn't the same topic as the valuable post, it won't go with that in the library, so you are also better to make that a topic.

Do not be concerned about "flooding" the forum with topics, or that it is not that valuable, or that "nobody cares". If It's informative, and/or shares important thoughts, and also, the topic haven't been discussed 100 times and it's not just a complete copy of a sermon or something, and you think it would be good to be in the library, do make it a topic, please.

It will than decided if it goes to the library or not.

Also, look out for how you name your articles. Make sure people to find it when searching for words in that topic.
Too short articles are also a no-no, it should be at least as long as this. Short but informative is still okay.

I often skim posts just to see what members like Karnonnos, Stormblood, and DarkPagan666 have replied, and I've mentioned before that they should make their reply into a post. Anything valuable is worthy of being its own post, and can stimulate a good conversation thread.

Many times there will be valuable replies that are worthy of being its own posts, and it's a shame if they get lost.

Yes karnonnos has knowlege like precious germs hidden in the deepest part of this earth .I have always wondered why he does not make all his replies as posts or editorials which would benefit all satanists .

There is an ongoing effort to collect information from members to add them to the library. Be patient as there is a lot of material to comb through and work with.

There is too much out there for a few people to search and collect, especially if you consider posts from previous iterations of the forum, not to mention the groups. Additionally, some posts may be niche, which may not seem valuable to one person but could be a eureka for others who are experiencing the questions or issues themselves.

There should be a way to upvote valuable posts(this doesn't have to and probably shouldn't be visible due to the social consequences it can have - it should be purely back end), that way you are involving the entire community in selecting posts for admission to the library.

Those posts are then ranked together in a private list which the curators can review. Maybe AI could be used to generate keywords and tag the posts for easier reference.

Also, a point I think I forgot to make related to how some posts will be valuable to some and not to others is how people will search on their own for posts to help them with their problem, sometimes being lead to them in the forum.

If those people had a way to promote these posts in the system then that gives some hidden gems a chance to rise to the surface instead of waiting for a curator to come across it by luck.

I think we view value differently. Yes, there will be hours upon hours of reading, which is a skill that can be trained to do faster, by the way. But this does not mean that there will be thousands of posts to collect in a short period of time.

If this voting permission is given to everyone, it will get abused without a doubt, even when the votes are shown to those with specific rights instead of all. If voting permission is given to select people then we will see much less voting.

But I think it is an interesting idea and you might want to pitch it to Priesthood and JoS Guardians.

I want to ask you something.
Is there any chance I can access Yahoo groups? And do you have access to the old Archive Groups? I can't. It gives me the error 'The connection is not hidden'.

I have a package of older groups on my computer. I will upload and link it here.

Thank you very much, brother.

Really, it's a wonderful thing.

i feel the need to clarify something here
at that moment i just thought something like
"oh yeah if the HPS confirms it, it must be true and it's definitely okay!"
however, it was actually your post, AFODO, that first gave me the courage and motivation to "make my own posts"
The Joy of Satan does have a very good logo and I don't see the reason to change it. etc
analyzing myself
i think that at the time of this answer i misinterpreted your message and mentally created a sort of non-existent beef with you, so yeah, obviously it's fake and all made-up by my childish mind
now i realize it, i just wanted to tell you that i'm not mad at you or anything, AFODO, and in fact i thank you for the feedback of that time, and for this post! 💌

No worries, I never really thought that you are mad at me or something.
