Summoning the gods IS a very serious business and needs to be done with
respect, maturity, and indeed, with a specific purpose in mind. The gods are
busy, and to call upon them to simply say "Hello" isn't exactly appropriate.
With that being said, contacting a Demon for the purpose of establishing
contact, making introductions, and making oneself available for service or
tutelage IS ABSOLUTELY ACCEPTABLE. It should however, be done only once.
After the initial introductions, you should have a specific reason for
summoning that Demon again.
Basically, before you start the motions of summoning a Demon, one thing you
should seriously consider is "Am I wasting this Demon's time?". If you even
have to think about it for more than a few seconds - stop, and reevaluate.

serious about it, so I want serious answers here. What I'm wondering
is, do

Daemons mind if you call on them to just, well, talk to them? I mean,

have to have a specific reason to talk to a Daemon, or can it just be
for a
social call, as it were? The reason I ask is, I really,really would
like to
get
to know Amon Ra, aka Marduk, but I can at this point think of no
legitimate
reason for me to summon him. But I would very much like to simply talk
to
him,
learn from him, and express my love and respect for him. Would this be
considered disrespectful, or a waste of Lord Marduk's time? I
certainly do
not
want to offend him, or any of the Gods in that way. I know they are
all
extremely busy, but nonetheless...Hail Satan always!
