Yeah, it is true. The original "Khazars" were the Kaza-Huns. It was originally the Kaza-Hun Empire. What was originally part of the larger Hun Empire. The Kaza-Huns was a tribe from the Alliance of the 24 Hun Tribes. The Jews fled to the Kaza-Hun Empire from the south from the Islamic invasion. And the Kaza-Huns allowed them in because their southern borders began under Islamic attacks, so they thought the Jews would help to protect the southern borders as enemies of the Mozlems. The Kaza-Hun Empire were between the Moslems and the Byzantium. And in the Empire were freedom of religion. There were different pagans and ancient faithes, and Zoroastrians, and Eastern Christians, Nestorian and Manichean Christians. But in the Byzantine there were no freedom of religion, they even persecuted the Eastern Chtistians as well.... A word like hundred, they took Judaism as the state religion, to emphasize the independent imperial status of the Kaza-Hun Empire from the Byzantine and from Islam, and they maintained the religious freedom in the Empire, only the leading class, or part of the leading class converted to Judaism. One of the antecedents of that was that the Jews married into, and infiltrated into the leading positions in the Empire. Once, the headquarters of the 24 Hun Tribal Alliance wanted to command the Kaza-Huns to other areas for other tasks, but the Jewised Kaza-Huns denied it, and they left the 24 Hun Tribal Alliance, and wanted to maintain this Empire. Then the Kaza-Hun Empire became the Khazar Empire. (What is eventually finally later felt to the Islamic invasion.)
