Jack the Ripper's face 'revealed after 136 years' using groundbreaking technology

The face of Jack the Ripper has been revealed according to an author who has been studying the case for 30 years and claims to know why the killer mutilated his victims

This is the face of the world's most infamous serial killer, according to an author who has been studying the Jack the Ripper case for nearly 30 years. Russell Edwards, a Ripper researcher, has utilised new facial remodelling technology to create this CGI black-and-white image of how the murderer would have looked at the time.

Mr Edwards used DNA evidence from the shawl of one of the victims to "prove" that Jack the Ripper was actually Aaron Kosminski, a Jewish immigrant from Poland who was one of the main suspects during the horrific Whitechapel murders. In his second book on the case, Mr Edwards claims not only to have identified the Ripper, but also the reason why he mutilated his victims in such a way and how he evaded justice.

Jack the Ripper slaughtered and murdered at least five women in the Whitechapel area of east London across a four-month period from August to November, 1888. Three victims had internal organs removed, leading to a theory that the killer had some anatomical or surgical skills.

Police investigated the brutal killings of 11 women, mainly prostitutes, from April 1888 to February 1891, known as the Whitechapel murders. It is widely agreed that the third to the seventh of them, known as the Canonical Murders, were definitely carried out by the Ripper.

Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Chapman, Elizabeth Stride, Catherine Eddowes and Mary Jane Kelly were killed over nine weeks from August to November 1888, reports the Express. All of these victims were found with their throats slit, post-mortem injuries including to the vagina, and body parts removed from Chapman, Eddowes and Kelly. So how did Mr Edwards "confirm" Kosminski as the Ripper?

PC Watkins was the officer who discovered the brutally mutilated body of Catherine Eddowes, the Ripper's fourth victim, on a pavement in Mitre Square on September 30, 1888. Her head was almost severed and her nose sliced open. She was his second victim that night.

A silk shawl she owned was drenched in blood - but fast forward nearly 120 years to 2007 - and a north London businessman, Mr Edwards, is said to have stumbled upon the alleged shawl at an auction in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

Intrigued yet sceptical, he purchased it and was surprised to find it remarkably well-preserved, with what seemed to be blood and semen stains still visible. It later transpired that acting Police Sergeant Amos Simpson had taken the shawl as a somewhat grim "gift" for his wife, Jane, as Eddowes' body was transported to the morgue.

Although Jane never wore it, the shawl remained in the family for generations until it was auctioned off by Sergeant Simpson's great-great-nephew, David Melville-Hayes. Mr Edwards was puzzled that such a decorative silk scarf, adorned with flowers, would have belonged to Ms Eddowes, who was known to be impoverished and an alcoholic.

However, the design and dyes used seemed consistent with those produced in St Petersburg at the time. This led Mr Edwards to speculate whether the shawl could have actually belonged to Ripper suspect Kosminski, who originated from the Russian empire. The question arose, could he have left it at the scene?

This sparked a series of extensive DNA tests on the assumed blood and semen stains, with the assistance of distant relatives of both the victim and suspect. Astonishingly, there was a positive match for the blood stains and an unnamed direct descendant of Ms Eddowes.

Although a request to exhume Kosminski's body was declined, the DNA found in the semen stains also matched one of Kosminski's sister's descendants. According to Mr Edwards, this is definitive proof of Jack the Ripper's identity - a case that has remained unsolved since 1888.

Kosminski was born on September 11, 1865, making him 22 and 23 at the time of the murders. He grew up in Klodawa, near Warsaw, as the youngest of seven children, losing his father when he was just eight years old.

His mother remarried and records suggest he may have been sexually abused by his stepfather. In 1882, six years before the murders, the family fled to London's East End to escape the anti-Semitism spreading across eastern Europe following the death of Tsar Alexander II a year earlier.

During the murder investigation, Dr Robert Anderson, head of the London Criminal Investigation Department, had identified Kosminski as a key suspect. Confidential police reports, published in 1894 as the Macnaghten Memorandum, noted that detectives believed he harboured a "great hatred of women, especially of the prostitute class, and had strong homicidal tendencies".

The reluctance to accuse a Jew during the Jack the Ripper case was, according to some, due to fears of sparking anti-Semitism. Without any known photographs of Aaron Kosminski - the suspect - researcher Mr Edwards reached out to the man's descendants for family portraits.

These images were then fed into an advanced computer program to recreate what Kosminski may have looked like. The resulting image depicts a young man with short hair, high cheekbones, and an intense gaze.

Mr Edwards' further investigative work points to the possibility that Freemasonry ties helped the serial killer avoid capture; specifically, Kosminski's brother Isaac's membership in the Freemason's Lodge of Israel might have provided protection. Isaac, a successful tailor who anglicised his last name to Abrahams when he moved to London in 1870, appears in one photo along with other Masons, all displaying distinctive handlebar moustaches and formal attire.

Intriguingly, Masonic lore includes the tale of Hiram Abiff, the "Master Mason", who was killed by three men known as "The Juwes". This story is linked to Masonic blood oaths describing violent mutilations, paralleling the brutal nature of the Ripper's crimes.

Mr Edwards is certain that the Ripper was not a random mutilator, but was executing these Masonic instructions. He also suspects that his brother's Masonic connections likely shielded his younger sibling from arrest to prevent backlash against the Jews.

More disturbingly, the Ripper left another clue at the Eddowes murder scene. Nearby, the cryptic phrase "The Juwes are the men that will not be blamed for nothing" was chalked, with the word 'Juwes' spelt in the same Masonic manner.

Kosminski was never arrested and in 1890, after a suspected schizophrenic breakdown in which he threatened his sister with a knife, he was committed to Colney Hatch lunatic asylum in North London. He passed away 28 years later in the Leavesden Asylum, Hertfordshire.

Russell Edwards' book, Naming Jack The Ripper: The Definitive Reveal, is now available, published by Rowman and Littlefield.

136 years? 1+3+6=10, the jew's number of perfection. No idea if this Russell Edwards is a jew or not, though.

Well... It's obvious he was protected.

Why should the world care about Gentiles anyway? The kike has to come first, right? 🙄

A few years ago, I watched a documentary about the murders. The descendants of some of these victims actually met. They had gathered at a cemetery (I think they must have mentioned the last victim's tombstone, or something like this) and I remember how it was emotionally intense for them. They hugged, they cried, etc. (Either it was genuine or the producers told them to act like this; who knows)

But just by seeing them all together, I thought "now imagine if Kosminski's descendant suddenly shows up."
