Is praying to Satan is the right thing to do?

I wonder whether praying to Satan is an appropriate thingh to practice? I read a statement from "the Demonic Bible" that Satanist are not in a kind of mental shape to pray to a deity. How do you think of it from a practical experience point of view?

If you had read the website and not some freaking corrupted book, then you would know that we pray to the Gods all the time. Maybe not exactly the way the xians do it, but we definitely pray.

crap. The dude who wrote it contradicts himself.

Serbessa, there's absolutely nothing wrong with praying to Father
Satan or any of the Gods. All prayer is, really, is talking to the
Gods. Either aloud or in your head; when yoou're advanced enough
psychically, you'l be able to hear them speak to you as well. Unlike
the fictitious xian god, Father and the other Gods actually answer our
prayers. Read the Jos site more too; many things are explained on

She/he is referring to the book written by magus tsirk susej. Who also calls himself the antichrist. Who from what I believe either is a defunct member from the church of Satan or the ONA. He also believes that this book he wrote was given to him from who he calls the "spirit Azazel."  
Some of the crap he has in there are things like saying the lords prayer backwards.

Brian, the Demonic Bible is a completely different book than the Satanic Bible and written much later and is full of reverse xian rituals and nonsense. Don't confuse these two books.

But the Demonic Bible too does not represent real Satanism, is reverse christian nonsense and you should just throw it in your garbage bin, nothing to learn from it. Lots of it is insulting to our Gods, much like Michael W. Ford's books it says our Gods are just "dark archetypes".

I absolutely agree with this I was getting advice from a a lot of other sites and people and my life did not change much until I started reading a nd practicing the information on the Joy of Satan site. There is another site out there that has a lot of great advice however the stupid fools made their site in a hard to read and see font and colorings, so I am figuring just like me the are helping the Joy of Satan site get a lot of members.

The author, Tsirk Susej, is a reverse xian. I used to own some of his works, and got rid of them when I dedicated to Father Satan and learned about what real Spiritual Satanism is.I'd stay away from his works, they are really blasphemous and give the wrong idea about the Demons and about Father Satan.
