Is Animism Appropriate?

Being it falls under Paganism, is this a practice that's shunned? I'm not talking about rocks, rivers and mountains having spirit souls, more along the lines of believing nature in general is sacred. I know Christianity cleansed the planet of Druids, Vikings and others who had Animistic beliefs. What about Spiritual Satanism? What would the higher ups in the community say about it?

I am not an expert in what are called "animistic beliefs", but I can tell you about us.

For us, yes, Nature is absolutely sacred.
This includes "Nature" as the living beings of the Universe (people, animals, plants, etc) but also "Nature" as the "Law of the Universe".

From what I've understood:
Everything we believe in, we do so because the Gods have taught us it is Natural.
He who mastered Nature is Father Satan, The Highest Being in the Universe, and from Him, and the Knowledge he imparted, stemmed the Ancient Religions, which we are fighting to reinstate in their full Splendor.

If I'm not wrong, the Highest Goddess most related to Nature as the environment around us, is Lady Astarte, Daughter of Satan.
She was also known as Ishtar, Inanna, Astarte, Isis, Demeter, Aphrodite, Athena, and more.

Animism is about all of nature having a soul which is somewhat true. There are elemental beings which protect rocks, trees, rivers and everything natural and which have been mentioned in many ancient mythologies and in modern occultism. Beings like mermaids, satyrs, dryads, nymphs, goblins, fairies and many more. There isn't just inert matter in nature like materialists believe, and this is the reason to regard nature as sacred.
