I agree. I think the solution to this type of tactic, which seems to be like feigned ignorance/confusion about dangerous activities, is to clearly address it over and over, especially by respected community members. Then the truth becomes solidified and no longer subject to question.

It seems like they are trying to "open a hole" in people's mind and fill it with shit, but if you close the wound before they can act, then it nullifies their initial attack.
