I want to become a Satanist but...

At the risk of sounding whinny...I want to become a Satanist, but I still live with my parents. They are totally brainwashed by the Xian bull-sh*t. I know they will not tolerate me burning black candles. And Having a shrine deviated to Satan. Even though I am an adult. I still love my parents (even though they are brainwashed), and respect their rules. Any suggestions?

You can do rituals in your astral temple, and also say you're a Buddhist, Hindu or something like that as someone else suggested before. In this way you can do power meditations and yoga freely without having to hide. Or if they don't even accept that just pretend to be sleeping and meditate while laying down. Once you've got the most important thing, meditation, covered you don't have to worry about anything else.

And I think you mean having a shrine *dedicated* to Satan, because deviated has almost the opposite meaning...

Just to add.... Father Satan completely understands and is very Loving and Caring.... If you lock your bedroom door and do power meditations it may be fine. (for the chanting you can do it under your breath or in your head) I am not sure if you have dedicated yet in a ritual but it would be a good thing to do if you feel ready.... Though you do not need a black candle to do the dedication as you can use a blue or green candle.... If you had a piece of a cocanut for a chalice and a burning bowl a stick for an athame and a string with a rock on the end of it for the bell and you were sincere and Love him he would not care what ritual tools you used though if you were using tools like that it would probably be best to upgrade.... Just trying to make a point in how understanding he is. You don't have to yell "HAIL SATAN" after the ritual or your dedication if your parents could hear you.... you could wisper it or even say it in your mind if you have to.... don't worry you will be fine.

Hi Jason! You can be a Satanist of course. Remember that the most important thing to do are your meditations, and you don't have to do activity that your parent will recognize as satanic to do meditadions. Improving your mind is the most important thing. To have a shrine deviated to Satan you can use other colors candle and the photo of a peakock for example (it represent Satan)! But if you can't because your parents Satan will comprend...in that case is important that you take for example 10 minutes a day to sit down in your bed and think at Satan with love and you say thanks to Him for His help! You can also do simply action to say thank Him look like -take care to keep cleen nature for your garbages - put stiker (that ones in the section "files" in the group) in library - take respect to His image and everything that represent Him
...and other action of this kind (remember NOT COMMIT  illegaly action)! When you fell is the moment, do your dedication ritual is important that if you do it as described (except the black candle that can be made by other colours look like blue) because you have only once to do the ritual, but you can wait for the good night when your parent are out and you are at home alone for example ;-); And is important to read and study about bsatanism in joyofsatan website and his links (the others site and books are full of shit and lies about satanism), if you want i've seen that there is some files in the section "file" of the group.
