I need answers about ghematria

How does ghematria work?

If for example I look at Greek ghematria I see that Omicron and Omega have values 70 and 800 while Beta and Digamma have 2 and 6.

Whereas if I look at hebrew ghematria I have Alef which is worth 1, and with vocalisations it becomes a vowel, so also Omicron and Omega, but it is worth 1 and not 70 and 800.

Beth is worth 2 and its pronunciation can be B or V, but Vaw is also pronounced V and is worth 6, as in Greek for Beta and Digamma.
Vaw can also be O or U and is worth 6, but Alef can also be O or U and is worth 1, whereas in Greek it is different.

When do I use one or the other? Do words containing the letter Beta and the like have two different values?

Then how can I tell which ghematria is the right one by looking at the structure of an alphabet?

What is the meaning of ghematria based on the letters and the vibrations of these letters? Or of the planets?

There is also Pi which in hebrew is pronounced P or F and is worth 80 while in Greek Pi is worth 80 and Phi is worth 500.

Which one should I follow?

Based on what does a sound have a numerical value? How can I tell which alphabet or structure is perfect?

If I were to create an alphabet that contains all existing sounds, such as IPA, by what criteria would I say that S is worth 3 and R is worth 5 (example values)?

I believe it is based on geometry. Look towards how the Greek system functions and you can study the alphabets. Surely there is some reasoning. I will study as well in the mean time.

From what is generally taught people like Greeks and ohers used the letters as numbers, based on the alphabetical order and not on phonetics. For example In the Futhark the sound /f/ stand for 1, while in the Greek one the sound /a/ stand for 1. Though the alphabetical order is probably not random.
What I think is sure is that phonetics play a role in the power of a letter connected with the element associated with it.
Sadly the only book I found on isopsephy is the Barry's one, not a bad one though. Regarding the Futhark, I think the study of the association of letters with constellations could be worthwhile.
