I just did the dedication to satan a month ago

I did the dedication to satan my candles burned total and things but i dont know if i did it wrong i use two candles black and blue one bowl and i ended uo leaving the light on but i did say the pact that was written on the joy of satan page and the candles did burn total but it was all weird i dont know if i did the ritual wrong or not i need help
