During our lives we face many difficult circumstances we cannot affect or control, thus we need help in order to overcome them. Sometimes help seems difficult. In some situations, we don't do whatever we can in order to get the help we need.
A factor on this can be the habit of our reality,
Feeling good or normal or comfortable in certain situations that are way far from normal.

A negative habit can prevent a change. Even if this change is coming from our Gods as help, or from a working we perform, or a good transit, we may block it by having specific habits, specific mindsets.
A negative habit can make us moody, to make us lose hope. A positive habit is for example our meditation routine.
If our mood is stuck on a specific mindset, then change won't be able to come to us fully.
Also, I've observed that the negative habit grounds us too much on the physical level and makes us act around that only. For example, waking up, going to school/university/work, returning home, eating, sleeping, and the next day again and again, as a loop. If our mind is stuck to this only, it gets comfortable  in this and locks out any possibility of changing this.

We may be recreating patterns from our past.
If for example one does a money working or a working for a better job, and his salary is 1x then he might even block his own working to attract 2x (a higher salary or extra income) cause his brain is used to this amount of money.
Or after a relationship with a person who didn't satisfy you emotionally or sexually for example, the brain may link that the normal thing is to be unsatisfied, so even if you find a new partner, you may attract the same patterns.
We must be open to good change.

Sometimes even the smallest negative habit can keep us away from change, and sometimes the smallest change in our daily lives can take us closer to happiness
Our belief system plays an important role here. Being positive, knowing that the physical isn't rock solid and a change can come, will open the path for the change to come to us.

Things we are emotionally attached to, or we fear letting go of, make us not open to a positive change. This needs balance.
Earth and water people tend to enjoy and/or get stuck to habits. Air and fire element people are prone to change, as they are more active. Balance is needed so we have a safe reality and are open to a positive change for us.
Habits are like addictions, often it is difficult to detach and go a step further, to a healthier and more positive way of living.

Understood, thank you very much!

Thank you. This is an unfortunate loop we tend to get stuck without realizing it, and even liking it in some cases cause habits can give the sense of stability and security. Balance is needed so we are open to a positive change while, and this I find better to start it by replacing a negative habit with a positive one. It all starts in our minds, our mindsets.
