How did you find your way here?

Well, I'm back, I missed you all! My family and other obligations and distractions have kept me away for so long. Thankfully between several of my Satanist friends, I'm back here, back to the lovely safe circle I had left
This amazing path had brought me an amazing man, he was everything I had ever hoped for, though with the waning of my faith and the noise of everything else, I lost him. Now, I am start getting back to the safe circle that makes up my dreams, the spirits are craving for me to come back, to give them the voice they seem to have lost. And now, upon when I made up my mind that I would jump back in full force, I have that amazing person back in my sight. I take it as a sign of father's love and him calling me back. Now I'm going to take this sign and come back to the place that I called home

So, to start out my welcome back-ness, tell me people, how did you find your way here, to the glorious left hand path? What has this amazing way done for you?

Welcome back, it is wonderful that you'[ve returned. The Father will always take care of his children. How I got here? I was researching once again trying to find some form of meaning. And i stumbled upon the JoS website. That night after reading what i could i decided to dedicate myself. That night i pledged. Since then i have felt an empowering sense of calm, and the feeling that all is right now. Ive been in an oddly good mood since, and the decision i have been hesitating to make in terms of my future has been made. I believe Father helped me take that first step.

^^ Thanksi for the welcome back, and that sounds wonderful, heh. As for how I got into it, magick runs through my veins, every member of my family was a witch at some point in their life, whether they will admit it or not, they were. My childhood best friend's mum was a wiccan for some time and it drew him to find Satanism and this wonderful group. So, being pretty much his best friend, he shared it with me, it was our secret thing, I learned from him and then, one day he just, stopped, backed out. And as for me? I kept going, I pledged myself soon after and became a member of these email groups, where in fact, I met the love of my life who's actually a poster on here too
Father provides for the ones who are honest in their faith, I see he has for you too

Well, since this is the very first Posting that I'm replying to....hmmm; how did I get here.....well, here's the "short-list":
1. Raised Xtian, never felt fully "right" about what I was being taught;2. Stayed Christian for way too long out of politeness to my Family/Fear of g_d/hell etc.3. Joined a Gothic Social Site 3 1/2 years ago that "got me to thinkin'". : )4. Wrestled within myself for the past 20 years that I needed to start developing my psychic/magickal Abilities.5. Decided to join SOTOS then decided I'd rather pursue a local Californian Organization vs. an Australian one.6. Looked into the Order of Phosphorous and other Organizations and decided upon the Rosicrucian Order of the Golden Dawn (awaiting my 1st lesson).7. Going to do the dedication ritual this Monday when I have the house privately and wholly to myself.

Well, welcome We welcome you with open arms!
Heh, don't worry about the name thing, it took a few months after my dedication for my name to stick Kithic Dithean is Gaelic for Left Hand Path basically. Just pick whatever calls out to you, because sometimes it just jumps out at you.
And I know how you feel about being raised xian, I was born and bred xian until my 14th birthday, they have taken me to church since before I could speak and currently as much to my displeasure my family is still very xian. I live with my grandparents and they are actually studying to be ministers and have little church sessions in our house every wednesday and the bad gospel singing goes through the walls, lol. I actually go to church on a daily basis also, but Father understands I have no choice, but usually I find a way to scamper off somewhere else or I just sit in the back with my music and coffee trying to wake up, heh.
Well, darling, I wish you all the luck in the world with your dedication ritual!

Well, since this is the very first Posting that I'm replying to....hmmm; how did I get here.....well, here's the "short-list":
1. Raised Xtian, never felt fully "right" about what I was being taught;2. Stayed Christian for way too long out of politeness to my Family/Fear of g_d/hell etc.3. Joined a Gothic Social Site 3 1/2 years ago that "got me to thinkin'". : )4. Wrestled within myself for the past 20 years that I needed to start developing my psychic/magickal Abilities.5. Decided to join SOTOS then decided I'd rather pursue a local Californian Organization vs. an Australian one.6. Looked into the Order of Phosphorous and other Organizations and decided upon the Rosicrucian Order of the Golden Dawn (awaiting my 1st lesson).7. Going to do the dedication ritual this Monday when I have the house privately and wholly to myself.

Hi everyone, I dedicated just about 2 months ago. Well I can say I am very glad I Did! I`ve been looking around for a group to join and The Joy of Satan fits good with me. Also been doing the power meditations and practicing trances. I know I have a long way to go but I know Father satan will guide me. Hail Satan!
