Most of the posts that i read are in fact.... really hard to read.

because alot of posts dont have and capitalization, punctuation, and spaces with orderly sentences.

So may everyone...please.......

just take the time to upgrade your posts before you post them.

this is because, when i read some peoples posts, i cant officially understand what im reading without the good flow of a post or essay.

its like im reading abunch of words that go on forever until the post is over. it makes the post really, really, difficult to read.

i dont wanna struggle, to try and understand what you are saying.

may we make the obstical, be what ever you are saying?

and NOT be actually READING it.

i completly understand misspellings. i mean, i do it all the time. and i have the right mind to guess what you "meant" to say.

but at least you can add a couple spaces though....right?

just a few hits of that space bar??

makes it a whole lot easier for the eyes....

thank you :)

HAIL SATAN!!!!!

Have you heard that old saying, "Practice what you preach"?

1. "because alot of posts dont have and capitalization, punctuation, and spaces with orderly sentences."

What do you mean by, "dont have and capitalization"? Perhaps you meant "any" instead of "and"? And by the way, it's "don't", not "dont". You are condensing two separate words ("do" and "not") into one, so the apostrophe is needed.

2. "in fact.... really hard" and "everyone...please......."

There should be a space before "please". Also, only three periods are needed, and it's four periods at the end of a sentence.

3. "read some peoples posts"

It is "people's".

4. "what im reading".

I notice that you never capitalize "i". And you forgot the apostrophe. Again.

5. "abunch"

Where's your space there?

6. "wanna"

It's "want to". Not everyone is familiar with American slang.

This is only the first half of your post. Shall I continue, or have I made my point?

I was tested when I was only 8 years old, and was informed that I was already reading and writing at a university level. And yet I have NEVER made a post such as yours. I understand that many of us hardly speak English, and have never had lessons about the proper grammar rules and structures. And we need to communicate with each other, regardless of language barriers. I have learned a lot from someone on here who does not type English in proper format, but I deal with it. I don't mind deciphering what my Brothers and Sisters write. I choose to have a little patience, and not insult those who were not raised in an English speaking country. And I believe at least one person on here used to be illiterate. I feel nothing but admiration for that person who overcame it, and is doing his or her best to learn about the JoS.

Hail Satan!

@David, One of the worst things someone can do is come in here and complain about grammar and punctuation. No one is perfect as you obviously proved by the lack grammar and punctuation in your post. As a matter of fact, make this the last time someone complains about something ridiculous like this. Many people in these groups can barely speak english let alone write or type it.
This is not an american group, this group welcomes everyone. We fully understand what you mean, but it is truly uncalled for. You need to think about people who struggle with the english language, everyone is not grammatically perfect.
You should definitely apologize to anyone you may have offended!

I agree that the content matters more than grammar or punctuation, but I think some people could at least use some paragraphs and basic capitalization and periods. It doesn't really matter if some people make spelling or grammar mistakes, I make lots of typos too, but I can't really read a single paragraph/wall of text without any punctuation at all and I've noticed people who write like this rarely get their posts answered. I learned it myself because I used to post like this and all my posts were unreadable. Same with an all-caps post.

Well put, Lydia! David, I understand where you're coming from on this,
but patience is needed here. I always try and proofread my posts, and
sure I make mistakes as well. Everyone does from time to time. For
those who do not speak it, however, English is rather a difficult
language to learn, particularly the spelling and grammar aspects. Ave

I agree, plus it makes us satanists look smart when non satanists visit the groups(even though we are, because we actually study) and we make a good inpression. Not like xtians, they're as primitive as their slave book. But anyways I agree plus they're not just quick texts, they're mostly inportant questions and information.

Keep in mind, some people post from their phones or do not speak English very well. My grammar ain't perfect; I don't think anyone has perfect grammar either way.

I think almost nobody cares about punctuation nor grammar. I agree with everything that is said. Context is way more important than grammar. I mean this is not some English exam where spelling errors count.

What? English is rather a difficult language??
If English is difficult for you, I wonder which language is easier to learn for you [and remember someones motherlanguage doesn't count]

In fact I find English is one of the easiest languages to learn. Especially newer/simplified versions where you i.e. write color instead of colour.
Compare this to France, where anything written is way off of how you speak it and lots of special rules apply. Or look at more complex languages like Chinese, I dont know it, but I imagine that would be one of the hardest to learn.
Where English gets harder for me is older versions like the ones used in Shakespeare or older bible versions i.e. stuff like "Thou shalt not kill." without context it wouldn't be clear for me that "Thou" means "You" and "shalt" means "should". But thats because I'm not used to it and its a dead version no one uses anymore.

Have you heard that old saying, "Practice what you preach"?

1. "because alot of posts dont have and capitalization, punctuation, and
spaces with orderly sentences."

What do you mean by, "dont have and capitalization"? Perhaps you meant
"any" instead of "and"? And by the way, it's "don't", not "dont". You are
condensing two separate words ("do" and "not") into one, so the apostrophe
is needed.

2. "in fact.... really hard" and "everyone...please......."

There should be a space before "please". Also, only three periods are
needed, and it's four periods at the end of a sentence.

3. "read some peoples posts"

It is "people's".

4. "what im reading".

I notice that you never capitalize "i". And you forgot the apostrophe.
Again.

5. "abunch"

Where's your space there?

6. "wanna"

It's "want to". Not everyone is familiar with American slang.

This is only the first half of your post. Shall I continue, or have I made
my point?

I was tested when I was only 8 years old, and was informed that I was
already reading and writing at a university level. And yet I have NEVER
made a post such as yours. I understand that many of us hardly speak
English, and have never had lessons about the proper grammar rules and
structures. And we need to communicate with each other, regardless of
language barriers. I have learned a lot from someone on here who does not
type English in proper format, but I deal with it. I don't mind
deciphering what my Brothers and Sisters write. I choose to have a little
patience, and not insult those who were not raised in an English speaking
country. And I believe at least one person on here used to be illiterate.
I feel nothing but admiration for that person who overcame it, and is
doing his or her best to learn about the JoS.

Well they do say english is one of the hardest languages to learn if it isn't your first language. Some of the words that sound the same but different spellings and meanings, shortening of words. English is complicated language to those who do not really speak it. They way it's design, words that are the same with different meanings. The way we spell words that do not sound the way they are written. A lot of synonyms that are similar but with different meanings. The irregular conjugations of verbs can make it pretty difficult.

I feel nothing but admiration for that person who overcame it, and is
doing his or her best to learn about the JoS.

just take the time to upgrade your posts before you post them.

this is because, when i read some peoples posts, i cant officially
understand what im reading without the good flow of a post or essay.

its like im reading abunch of words that go on forever until the post is
over. it makes the post really, really, difficult to read.

i dont wanna struggle, to try and understand what you are saying.

may we make the obstical, be what ever you are saying?

and NOT be actually READING it.

i completly understand misspellings. i mean, i do it all the time. and i
have the right mind to guess what you "meant" to say.

but at least you can add a couple spaces though....right?

just a few hits of that space bar??

makes it a whole lot easier for the eyes....

thank you :)

And in English the same letter may be pronounced a different way in another word. That's why we say "in this mantra vibrate "e" as in "set", not as in "return"" for example. In some other languages wherever there's an "e" sound it is always pronounced the same way.

I think English is easier, cuz u don't have to deal with all the grammar rules about masculine or feminine

But thats because I'm not used to it and its a dead version no one uses anymore.

language to learn, particularly the spelling and grammar aspects. Ave

I agree that the content matters more than grammar or punctuation, but I
think some people could at least use some paragraphs and basic

spelling or grammar mistakes, I make lots of typos too, but I can't really
read a single paragraph/wall of text without any punctuation at all and I've
noticed people who write like this rarely get their posts answered. I
learned it myself because I used to post like this and all my posts were
unreadable. Same with an all-caps post.

I had a teacher in school tell us that the French language only has about 200,000 words, while the English language has over a million. So... good luck learning the meanings, pronunciations, and spellings of over a million words!

For me it's easy, but that's because I'm good with words and English
is my native language. No, one's mother tongue doesn't matter. If
English was hard for me, I would have said, 'English is rather a
difficult language for ME to learn', but I did not say that.
