I'll be posting some questions or topics I come across in my studies more often, as I feel the Forums need more of these pleasant discussion topics.

What do we think about the Cyclopes and the Hecatoncheires?

They were created long before the Titans, by the Primordial Gods.
They were sealed within Tartarus, and freed by Zeus in his usurpation of the Titans.

We know the primordial Gods to be deeper concepts of existence, and the Titans to be aspects of existence.

But what could these beings be an allegory for?
Let's make this an open discussion.

Through my own logic, I think they are "hidden powers of the Soul" or the powers of magick. The Hecatoncheires with their many arms to signify manifold power, and the Cyclopes with their one eye, related to the Third Eye.
These beings were "sealed" by the Gods within us, for our own safety. Hand an andrapoda these powers and this could doom humanity as a whole, not just one being.
But "Zeus", here as the Divine Mind and understanding of Existence, Divine Thought, He frees these beings within us.

Through "understanding Zeus", here to mean the Divine Power that follows the Laws of Existence, we ourselves "free these beings", and they "help overtake the Titans", as in, help us conquer Nature.

However, this is only my interpretation. I know there are many brilliant people here who have different views, so let's start a fun topic.
