Genetics in relation to off-spring?

If you have kids after you've cleared all your karma, will their physical appearance be affected by your new karma-print or will it just mean the souls you acquire as off-spring will end up being of a higher quality variant and perhaps even outside your original family tree's karmic roots?

How does genetics actually come into play if one's appearance is based on their own karma? Is it a combination of the two, genetics of parents + karma?

It is a combination of both. Also a very strong factor for what parents a child is born from. The soul is born into a situation where it fits.
