What does it mean to dream flying very high, some local gurus here say that its a sign that there are people messing around with you badly spiritually. Is it true or it's a lie

Depends on how you felt. Generally it means that your energies function normal in the body.

That's more or less what I was coming to terms with. I have these types of dreams as a child and went away when I became an adult but returned once I started meditating and doing yoga. I have attributed it to how "open" my soul is along with how easy it is at that moment for my own spiritual energies to flow freely.

I'm more inclined it's the general explanation more than something specific.

Hello RM,
1. I have noticed that there is a direct correlation between invoking solar energy and having the power of astral/dream flight and levitation.
2. Another theory I have is that at some point during your sleep, the two halves of your mind join in harmonious unison. This would manifest in experiencing conscious control of superhuman abilities in the astral. Being fully relaxed when practicing the alternate nostril breathing may open you up to this.

HS.

Same for me. In time this energy as a structure within you will become powerful and you'll feel it in a conscious way. Then you'll see how this acts in your sleep and even use it.

I feel like I'm so close to that because in these said dreams where I fly I am fully aware I am dreaming and therefore I make the conscious decision to fly. Although in the time during not meditating and doing yoga I would have dreams where I was fully conscious I'm in the dream but couldn't fly. Which is not the case anymore when these dreams do pop up as I mentioned.

Seems like if I keep at it I'll be seeing what you really mean soon, I hope. :D

Yogic Breath with a focus on the lower abdomen helped me on this.
A trick to induce this willingly would be, to fall asleep while you breathe quite deep while focusing on your lower belly and the motion you make. Belly out and stretching on inhale and fully relaxing when exhaling. Meditate until you sleep. A few nights on this you can experiment.

Not necessarily inhale energy there or Yogic breath, but a point of focus before sleeping.

There are a lot of interesting points to activate before sleep, but the above will activate your energy in the belly, and once you are asleep your body naturally will rise some energy. If the belly energy is fully consistent, you will be able to use it to astral project.

Being conscious is part of this, yes that is awesome.

I really appreciate that reply. Makes sense to me as I have been using the Yogic Breath a lot in the past few months and can imagine how what you said to work well.

Thank you :)

I don't no where you heard that from. You're simply flying in a dream, it is. Why does it need to have more context?

I had a few dreams like this. One I was flying over buildings, in stores and I saw 3 shady people in what appeared to be black leather with a briefcase.

Another one, I built a flying machine and I took it all over the city. Did a bunch of errands without needing to drive/take a bus.

The one thing I found most interesting was the intensity I felt and how vivid everything was. There were moments where I'd feel scared, like I'm falling, but I'd always manage to get back on track. This happened often at the take off part, where I'd go up so fast that I'd lose control. At these times it was like I was going light-speed.

Such amazing dreams. I honestly think they can help our minds adapt to astral projection better. I'll have to try that technique NakedPluto mentioned and see if I can achieve more lucid dreams. I'm leery about Youtube here because those people are all new-agey and I think there are ways to achieve it without forcing your brain into it (i.e meditation).

If anyone has information on that I'd be very grateful. ^_^

Aside from obvious random things one might dream about it's simply because our brains tend to give us messages thru dreams. There is a whole study behind this and a lot of us here ober the years have tried to help other SS interpret dreams from members that really stand out to the said members. Of course while ignoring the obvious trolls.

If you feel someone is messing with you spiritually say Hanuman chalisa and Shiva chalisa the deity will protect you

Is there actually any Spiritual significance to it? I have had dreams of flying before, and some of you here know how advanced I am not, compared with others. Mine, from what I can remember, were more either me seeming to have been laid back, as if on a sofa or recliner chair, and floating forward in that way, with one leg stretched out in front of the other and the other leg bent at my knee, sort of like a one-legged drop-kick. It tended to be along the same street/road, for unknown reasons - maybe just a repeated dream. Others, wherever they might have been, were more me realising, in the dream, that I could fly; as opposed to me, in the waking world, realising that I was dreaming. These consisted of - at first - me happening upon it by accident, as if when jumping while walking. A later dream of the same type of walking/jumping was that I knew, from previous, that I could float/fly in this manner, so did it deliberately. I suppose sort of like a computer game glitch which is not supposed to happen, but you exploit it deliberately.

None of them involved the real, awake me realising that that I was dreaming... Either that, or maybe a sort of in-between state, that I did realise but forgot immediately and the dream continued; or that I knew I could fly/float forward after the first walking/jumping dream, while other people could see me but seemingly were not frightened or shocked or amazed by it or interested in it, while the dreaming me was thinking that other people might react.

I can relate. I used to dream I could fly in a similar way, but that I had to put some kind of effort in to do so, like jumping or flexing with my arms etc. Those were cool dreams. Often it was about me trying to get away from something I think.

This night I dreamt something totally different and very weird. I dreamt that my boss started freaking out on me for having swindled 5000$ from the cash register somehow. "Do you want to get fired of what?!" lol
Then she realized it was all a mistake. The dream felt so damn real that I was relieved when I woke up.
Sorry for being off topic but that dream was indeed freaky. Must cut down on coffee here.
