first ritual failed?

hello,
I have done a ritual to satan today for the first time.I think that i have done everything right but i did not meet or speak with father satan.
i bought 5 silver colored candle stands with dark gray candles (there was no black).i bought a silver bowl and chalice with a pentagram on it.and i bought incense.i did not have a bell but i used something else that imitates the sound of a bell.i used black clothing
I placed the candle stands in a pentagram formation around the chalice, incense, bowl....i lit the candles and incense and waited around 15 minutes in that time i was preparing myself mentaly.I started, hit the bell stood up and spoke the names of the 4 princes (east, north, west, south). i ended up facing east and recite the invocation to satan.
i drank from the chalice (i had no wine so i used some other liquer) and then i read my prayers, afterwards i meditated for about 25 minutes. i got no answer so i read one of the enochian keys and meditated for another 10 minutes just to be sure. i didnt get any answers so i ended the ritual.
have i done something wrong? or did i misunderstood the ritual.
 
Okay...Father Satan does NOT come to you immediately. If you did everything right and your heart was in it, then
you are okay. You have to have OPEN chakras to hear the voices of the Gods. And you need to meditate and build
yourself spiritually. Read and study the Joy of Satan website. It was just a little over three years before my Guardian
told me who He is.


Have a little patience.

After five years of dedication l still doesn't know who my Guardian is. But l saw Satan just week after dedication.
