Feeling better today

I went down to the beach, sat on the sand, and watched the Sun come up. It's surprising how quickly the world comes back to life.

I bought 2 bottles of red wine on Monday and tried to ease my grief with it. Not recommended. I went through 4 phases: sadness, guilt, anger and aggression. I don't know how astrally open I am, but I could swear I had a conversation with her (sister). My kitchen joins to my living area in my apartment. She was sitting at the kitchen table and I was sitting on the couch. We spoke for a couple of minutes and when I walked into the kitchen to refill my glass she was gone. It was very surreal.

My parents have both passed away. My sister and I were very close, and she would tell me things she wouldn't say to another man. We always went to each other if there was a difficult problem we couldn't handle. She died from Multiple Myeloma, a common type of cancer, and was in a lot of pain at the end, but we gave the doctor permission to administer full dosage of diamorphine. She is the first of my sibling to go. I have two other brothers and another sister who lives overseas and has minimum contact with the family. I'm feeling better by the day, and feel now that the worst has passed.
