Everyone Starts from Zero

At the starting point, you have to totally abandon any idea that you have had past lives, that you think you are going to do great things, or that you are who-knows-who for whatever reason.

You have to start with the mindset that you are like a child, you don't really know anything, and you still have to form some practical foundations and basic understandings.

The past and its influence, in your life is not important, it is useful for you to understand what are some of the problems to be solved and nothing more, so detach yourself from it, don't deny it, accept it and move forward.

So in your present, after you have decided to do the Ritual of Dedication and begin the path to the Gods, you are a 0, you have no real value, your oppinion does not count, and we can still evolve without you, and no one owes you anything. Compared to outsiders, they are not even a number, and I don't consider them here, because precisely they are outsiders.

But in front of the Gods you have a certain kind of value, you are a soul who among many others living a meaningless life, decided to follow the Gods, and evolve alongside them. When you have understood this, and you have done the Rite of Passage (Ritual of Dedication), with Honest Heart, the Gods will invest in you, allow themselves to be approached and to guide you.

Unlike in movies and video games, where the newcomer treats a God or a person of high rank as one of the bros, or as his equal, this is not the case here.

Again in movies and video games, the protagonist never does anything to evolve, but suddenly he is chosen and becomes the hero of the world, rich, full of females, etc., or directly born from a "higher being". He is a total dick, stupid and totally ignorant, but he is the protagonist, so he can have superpowers, conquer the world and be the exception to everything.

This is one of the influences that generate endless delusions and arrogance in people.

In Spiritual Satanism you start from 0, and you work with the Gods by approaching them with the utmost respect and reverence, always anyway and in every case. There are things you have to work on, changes you have to make, etc. And you must not avoid them by creating strange delusions in your head, that way you waste everybody's time and yours also, and you don't advance.

The same goes for the Clergy, they are people who have already gone through all this, they are people who work for the Temple of the Gods, and they are people who know a lot more than you do. They are kind people, who are also willing to help you if you are serious and willing to advance, but they don't really owe you anything.

Here you create your value from 0. You build your foundation, free yourself from past influences, and humbly advance to new horizons.
With time you can begin to participate in spiritual warfare, you can participate in other projects to evolve the Temple of Gods, or you can even support it financially.

These things come through an understanding, and they make you increase in value in the eyes of the Gods, and this also goes hand in hand with your personal advancement. Because we are a family and we advance individually and collectively.

In that, throughout history I don't think it has ever been easier to support the Gods.

Have you ever done activism? Basic activism consists of doing a couple of clicks and at most writing a couple of things.

Translations? Do you know two languages well (one has to be english)? Perfect, just copy-paste a text at DeepL, and then check and correct any errors. But here you have to be able to understand the message and meaning, especially for Rituals and Prayers, which I would leave to more experienced members if you are unsure. You can also use Standard Notes for this work.

Do you want to help in the forum? If you are familiar with JoS sites or other Sermons, you can copy-paste a link and post it. Many questions are always the same. In other cases if you are unsure or you don't know, don't answer, don't give a casual oppinion just for the sake of saying something.

Do you have other talents? Chances are you may still have a way to advance JoS with it, an example might be the ability to create music, or knowledge related to computer programming, medicine, etc...

Financial support? You could even donate $40 a month, it's better than nothing. It won't make a big difference, but if everyone does it, the difference will be there.
This is also considered one of the most important contributions, in fact you are setting yourself up as a pillar of the community.

There is also a donor system, which essentially functions like an Ancient School, with various publications, advices, knowledge, and with constant improvements and updates.

Closing this great parenthesis. Build the foundation, banish all illusions, work with the Gods and always hold them in the highest regard and respect, and allow yourself to improve and know the Gods.
Don't do advanced things because you think you know or think you are ready, it will be like thinking you can climb over a wall. You will climb and then fall, hurting yourself.

Be thankful for this possibility, if you look at the current world and have seen enough, you know how Joy of Satan, and this whole path is one of the greatest of the miracles.

I agree with the messaging of putting in labor to improve one's value, but I do not agree with the idea that someone is, or should be, considered valueless as a prerequisite to be a part of our Path.

Imagine if great people who clearly have advanced souls, like HPS Maxine or Hitler, behaved like this and intentionally sabotaged their abilities?

The reality is that the past is important because this relates to our current state. What I did before changed who I am now and what karma I have to resolve. No, our past should not be used as an excuse to hold us back, but to say it has no influence is not true. Our current karma is the result of our past, for better or worse.

So in that sense, I don't believe we have to first crush people to zero in order to build them up, or something like that. That is an extreme amount of contraction which could inadvertently make us lose existing value or opportunities.

I understand, the goal was to prevent disappointment along the way.

If I, for example, enter a dojo to learn karate, I have my own potential, based both on my karma and my experiences, on knowing some strengths of myself.

But in fact when I enter a dojo I cannot pretend that I already know certain things, the reality is that I know nothing about karate. So I banish prejudices and illusions, and start on my path with humility, beginning to learn about karate as if I had never heard of it, from a Master who knows.

If I'm fat when I come in, then I'll have more work to do, if I'm elastic I'm at an advantage. Everyone is different and comes from different backgrounds.

I didn't want to crush people's egos, but more to suggest a mindset that doesn't create illusions.

I've been there on illusions, and they made me less inclined to do something and prevented me from moving forward. You have to focus on practical things, divinations and past lives are more advanced things, and they can create mistakes and delusions in new people.

In a deep path like this, I may also find that I actually know little about myself, and so I should not have the presumption that I already know certain things.

For the past should not have influence on us, I meant that one should free himself from bad people, bad events, ecc... like, you start a new life after you dedicate.

Maybe I should have suggested humility and openness, but value nonetheless has to be built, right?
