Don't drink that shit.
Drink the water.

Short answer: No.

They contain caffeine in such amounts that even a can regularly is unhealthy, plus all the other ingredients. Not to mention those drinks are about pH 2-3.

Have you ever tried barley coffee? It is very good, especially with milk. It has digestive and anti-inflammatory properties, plus it has no caffeine or other stimulants.

Having one per day is already bad, having 7 per day? You're basically slowly killing yourself.

Nope. The amount of sugar you are going through too is absolutely crazy.

Oh yeah, the sugar of 7 cans of energy drink is too much to even an active athlete, not to mention being otherwise detrimental to health and wellbeing, but the point is that it is too much to burn through one day and our bodies need so called healthy carbohydrates instead, such as from grains.

What about sugar free energy drinks? Are they as bad?

I use to drink them as a pick me up but that was too much and felt weird after days of drinking them each time and now I’m at drinking 1-2 every other day with my meals. I have given up soda a long time ago but I like drinking something besides water when I eat food. The rest of the day all I drink is spring water.

2 isn't amazing but it's not absolutely insane. 7 is like... Monster Energy has 27g of sugar per bottle so it's like 189g of sugar per day on top of food.

Sugar free drinks emulate sugar so they can make weight loss difficult. Asparatame also hijacks and wears out the adrenal system when taken to very high levels (like 7 cans per day).

Artificial sweeteners are potentially worse than sugar. At least with sugar, you know that you get a condensed amount of energy that can be used by the body as energy (or stored as fat), but with artificial sweeteners, there is a hot debate about whether they pose carcinogenic risks and other undesired effects. Now, this is not to say that consuming refined sugar in excess does not pose similar risks, but I would lean toward the risk being more manageable with sugar than with artificial sweeteners.

You could try juices made only with fruit and no added sugars. Those are healthy and tasty.

Noted. Thank you you two.

I'm sorry HOW MUCH?! 7 cans? you want to kill yourself?
First of all, i advise you not to drink that crap, drink coffee or green tea instead, they're better in every way.
If you're at a job/school just make it yourself and pour in to a watter bottle (preferably made from glass) before you leave to work/school.
Second of all, you're just a troll probably, like who on earth drinks 7 cans daily cmon.

The Jew wants everyone to be tired. Energy drinks have become another target. Pay for your own destruction. Pushed on the tired public at supermarket checkouts along with other drinks that contain high amounts of sugar and other toxic ingredients, they make people ill and tired. Especially after continually drinking for a period of time.

Stop drinking 7 energy drinks per day because if you don't stop you are going to die.

The likelihood of serious health issues and death with that high of a caffeine consumption is fairly high.

Please stop now while you have a chance. I'm not trying to scare you, but you could end up in a casket.

True. Only problem was quick accessibility but all I gotta do is travel a bit more like 15 minutes and it’s obviously worth the trip.

If you go overboard, it will no longer have an effect. That's what happened to me with regards to caffeine. It is no longer energizing, although I still have some, as it helps to keep the effects of withdrawal away since I've had a physical dependence and utilized high daily doses for so long. Plus I simply enjoy naturally caffeinated drinks/foods.

You will also need more and more to get the effect you once had. For me it takes a truly absurd dose of caffeine to get any noticeable effect at all anymore, granted my case is unusual and not specific to energy drinks. It's bad for your heart and I am lucky not to have suffered greater consequences than I have.

Energy drinks are loaded with massive doses of vitamins and other chemicals beyond caffeine that can become toxic and damage your body if you overdose. You should restrict energy drinks to 1 or 2 a day at most. The lesser the better, and only as necessary.

It should also be noted that these are not giving you energy, it's inducing the release of energy already in your body, which is not infinite in supply. Same goes for any other stimulant.

Buy more of them at once :p

I had been drinking those since I was a teenager. But eventually I noticed after a few years of drinking 1 or 2 daily, the caffeine doesn't really help as much anymore. And it started to cause me mild kidney pain from the excessive caffeine! Which is a warning sign to stop.

And I'll admit, even after the signs I still occasionally would have one if I was very tired or had to be up too early. Ultimately I was pushed to stop drinking them and I started feeling better within a few weeks.

Drinking coffee and tea is a better source for caffeine. Plus it saves you money, I got into the habit of making coffee at home and bringing it with me to work.

I'll make a few iced coffees and put them away until I need them. Ultimately though keep in mind that caffeine is a stimulant and in a way it's a drug and it causes addiction. It will give you withdrawal headaches and make you feel like garbage when you cut it out which is all the more reason to cut it out because that's not healthy to be dependent upon a drug to get through your day.

That's why I downgraded to coffee and tea but I'm aiming to cut it out all together eventually.

And I'm sure it's ok to have a coffee every once in a while, but I'm not talking about casual drinking, I'm talking about drinking it every morning.

Avoid energy drinks because of their caffeine and sugar content. It's addictive, you drink it because you need it after a while, not because of the "effect", which after a while loses its effect.

If you drink it a lot and for a long time, it can have the opposite effect, making you feel sleepier because your body is used to it. Not to mention that it can make you mentally and exhausted after a while and enslave you.

Getting rid of it is not as difficult as getting rid of cigarettes, for example. You can drink a healthy juice or a wholegrain drink instead of an energy drink, but there is no so-called "healthy alternative" to cigarettes.

Also, energy drinks can cause anxiety and depression, which your energy cycle will regret, and after a while, so will you.
