I have a confession to make: I have been drugging myself a bit lately.
Not going to say what drugs exactly, but it may have some connection with the death of my cat recently and other things, like being unemployed and having a room mate not paying rent, smoking weed and not helping out much. He's out now though finally.
Out are also the drugs. It tricks the mind into believing it's necessary to use, when the opposite is true - It's necessary to not use drugs, if happiness is a goal in life.
The typical drug addict will fool himself into thinking "it's spicing up life", when it's in fact shitting on it. This is an important fact, and should be mentioned more often.
Being against drug use is not being against Joy, but FOR it.
So why did I take drugs exactly? Not feeling that well probably, and being stupid enough to solve it with drugs. Trying to put out a fire with gasoline basically is what it is.
I've kept my routine with yoga, running and gym, but been lacking in meditation and RTR's - which should have been done instead of drugs.
There is a common thing that drug users share with people who commit suicide - the notion of it (drugs/suicide) being the ONLY option, and so also the notion of it being somehow totally necessary.
I think writing this post can help me keep myself clean of drugs. I'm sure I'm not alone in having slipped a bit into some drugs at hard times, not even here. I'm advanced enough to admit it though.
Yes, I took some drugs lately, and yes it was fucking stupid. Spiritual Satanists don't do drugs. They advance and breathe in oxygen - not smoke from burned materials.
It's important for me to contemplate on why this mistake of mine happened.
And why do people take drugs? They somehow must think it's necessary to do so. So Why necessary? That's something all drug users should think about.
Is it because one cannot enjoy life, have fun or feel happy without the drugs? If that is the reason for it being so necessary, then it's all totally false one. The opposite is true.
Being sober and clean of drugs is the best place to be in, but that can be hard to understand when your cat dies. I have to face myself and not flee. Only then can True happiness be reached.
