Does it matter what day you were born? Astrologically

For example, if you were born on a Sunday vs Saturday, on a "good" hour vs a "bad" hour - will the Energies of Saturn/Sun have a certain effect on your soul? Along with the specific hour

astrology is a holistic discipline. i believe that making deductions solely based on the day or hour is not accurate. its beneficial to interpret the entire birth chart as a whole.

I'm sure there are nuances as to how the energy manifests in a person regarding the day and hour of birth since these have an effect in magic, but I don't believe it's an important detail to be concerned with unless you're a master astrologer.

You would be better off looking at the numerology of the name & birth.

I can see how with the birth date, but how does numerology come into play with the person's name?
The letters correspond to numbers by their position in the alphabet. A=1, B=2, C=3, etc. This is how you can apply numerology/gematria to names.

I don't know enough about numerology to be able to tell you much more than this, but I have had someone interpret the numerology of my name and it reminded me alot of certain features in my natal chart. It reinforced certain themes and gave another perspective on others. In the hands of an SS, this could be an enlightening practice.

PS. After learning about name numerology, I also realized the symbolism in women taking the surname of their husbands. It's essentially bringing their fates together.

If I remember correctly, German author Karl Brandler Bracht, in his book "How to develop your occult powers", mentions that in the East they consider both planetary hours, and also "Elemental hours", if you will. Meaning every Tattva (element), Akasha, Vayu (Air), Tejas (Fire), Apas (Water), Prithvi (Earth), is more powerful in specific times of the day, exactly like the planets. This knowledge, he says, is crucial not only for beginnings, starting projects etc. but also for magickal workings. For example with Magick of Fire, Pyrokinesis etc. doing it during the Tejas time would make it much more powerful.

He says that the element that was dominant when you were born will have an influence on you. He also says that starting projects during the Akasha and Vayu time is not good at all, while the Prithvi time is very favorable for blessings and white magick in general. For more info try to get the book if you can.

The timing works like this. At sunrise a cycle starts. Then for 24 minutes Akasha will be dominant, then Vayu for 24 minutes, then Tejas and so on in the order I listed above. A cycle lasts 2 hours in total and then it re-starts. Inside of the 24 minutes, there is another mini cycle. For 4 minutes and 48 seconds each Tattva is more active. So if it's Tejas that is dominant it would be Tejas-Akasha, Tejas-Vayu, Tejas-Tejas (extremely powerful for fire Magick), and so on.

I use this knowledge now, I don't know how accurate it is yet, I'm still experimenting with it. I took this opportunity to share it with you guys, I already wanted to anyway. If you want, you can experiment with it too and tell me your experience.

Yes it definitely does matter! Especially if you want to figure out exactly who you are? And what you should be doing mentally and spiritually and to be properly guided. Understanding your own numbers and your birthday your horoscope sign. And how you can live your life! For the better or the worse. Depending on how it's mapped out for you to understand and follow.⚡👹

Prithvi is listed before Apas in the book now that I checked. So they are switched.
