This is a serie of 5 videos in where they reconstruct the building of a castle, including lifestyle, how it's build, how things handcrafted, etc.

This gives a whole new appreciation for the things and automation that we have today. Today we are rich compared to back then.

Also in the fourth episode it talks briefly about how the freemasons came to be (probably). In summary, the masons were stonecutters, and used mathematics, but they had a lodge where they could share tips and tricks with each other which then grew out to a place of study and knowledge.

Oh yeah I remember this documentary, I came across it myself recently too. I agree it is very interesting. The presenters of this did something about life in 19th century England which was good too, I remember watching that a few years back.
