Do the Gods still eat eventhough they have the Magnum Opus?

I believe they do, otherwise how will the Demons that workout will be able to heal from muscle tears and gain more muscle mass, without food?

And let's say they don't, would that mean that as soon as you reach the Magnum Opus you won't need to eat anymore? Or would you need to train yourself to not eat anymore?

I believe the Magnum Opus is just a working on the soul which also affects the physical body, thus making you immortal, but I don't believe it would liberate you from needing to eat or drink water. There is something called a 'Breatharian' which is a person who can live without needing to drink or eat, but that doesn't make a person immortal.

I believe they do eat, but I dont think they need it to survive. I think their bodys are made of a fine material that resembles light, which is why they are able to perform incredible feats like thunder.

Physical bodies out of the parameters of nature itself, need some form of sustaining that is related to the physical world, ie, food. They are energy and they need energy of the same level to live on.

Eating is also related to taste, which is one of the main emotional and sense based functions. Not eating and not tasting anything would be equal to having lost a sense of touch.

You are not "liberated" from these needs after the Magnum Opus, but you will indeed have an immortal body astrally and if the Magnum Opus is furthered, then physically. This body however, even though immune to ageing, will still need food, water and other things necessary to this world of the elements.

I think they do or at least some of them do for enjoyment but I think eating might cease to be a biological necessity. There are some people who have apparently survived years no food or water by taking in astral energies in meditation.

There are also videos online of tibetan priests self imolating on fire and not one scream of pain. And they are probably not ascended.

Ok yeah they can do it and I don't think it takes being ascended to do a lot of stuff like this there was some book I came across a few years ago that gave meditations to practice for things like this but me thinks people should fight in the face of the enemy instead of Just give up like this.

Anyways that was one of the listed Siddhis some places in yoga being able to go without food or water for extended periods of time and also being immune to heat cold and the elements.

I don't know how great it would be to go without food and water but apparently it can be done. But just cause it can doesn't mean beings like the Gods are doing this unless they absolutely need too for some emergency reason.

But obviously being able to do these things like be immune to elements and survive without food and water would be a benefit in some bad situations where survival is at stake.

But thinking about it I kind of doubt anyone would want to sit there for years just meditating focusing on sustaining the body however they did this. But these yogis show its possible anyways there was a scientific study done on one of these people where they showed he indeed was not eating anything or drinking anything but fine health wise.

I don't get it, do they still feel the fire or have they completely dulled that sense of touch or pain?
If dulled, then I don't think it is wise to dull the senses of one's body. One needs to know where they are hurt or else their body may fail them.

I believe its mental training to turn off senses and disconnect ones self from the body.

By practicing advanced void meditation.
Also, please avoid the misinformation, yogis that avoid eating for years.... reminds me of the indian kid who sat under a tree for years making shekels off retarded tourists.
Even if it was managable, it's not something to strive for, eating is a pleasureful thing to do.

I don't exactly remember the name of the book i read where it talked about this it was one of the ones found in the files on the origional yahoo group though. However what I remember was that it takes practice in getting used to the element of fire invoking it and making the body used to it. I don't think this is dulling the pain some native Americans do fire walking where they are able to walk barefoot over flames and embers. They don't appear to get burned. However the world "imolating" here suggests these people are killing themselves so I don't think this fire is not effecting them (please fight back against the communist enemy don't do that that is what I wish I could tell them)

This is a practice of becoming able to handle flames heat and fire and the element of fire is how this is done.

In the book I read there was a story where in initiation rituals people would be taken up high into the mountains where it was snowy and given wet clothes. They were to stay there for the night in the morning they would be warm and dry once they learned to handle and use the fire element.

I think this stuff is pretty cool but no I am not able to do any of it.
