Damage to the Astral Body from past lives.

A friend of mine remembers dying from a wound from an arrow in a past life. The arrow lodged in his shoulder.
Now, in this lifetime, if he focuses on that particular shoulder, he feels the pain still.

Is the arrow still lodged there?
If so, is there a way to remove it?
How does one heal damage to the physical and/or astral body from past life physical wounds?

You could try removing it the same way astral cords are removed.
