I can do/check translations here as a native speaker. I am not very technically adept, so I would prefer someone acting as a project leader.
We can also discuss who translates what, if there will be more willing translators, so we can avoid double translations. This could be handled by the project leader but we could probably also self-coordinate for the smaller non-main websites that have an easier sitemap than the main jos site, if no one turns out to be able to fulfill the role currently (the original post author will probably have his hands full, with the active response for several languages).

So, as I mentioned in the main thread, I am from Slovakia, but I have quite decent proficiency in Czech too, as Czech and Slovak are very similar languages. However, it would be preferable that the raw work be done by a Czech native, I can work as a support, mainly by editing and working on stylistics.

For now, I only included articles, that do not fall under other JoS sites, like Exposing Christianity, etc. I used a word document and also included a pdf version for easy access. Could you check the files and tell me, if the format is fine and if I need to change something?
I used Deepl one paragraph at a time, fixing/rewriting the paragraph immediately and read the whole file once again after finishing, fixing/correcting once more, so the text should be without mistakes but something is probably always going to get missed.

I have checked the translations, it looks quite good.
I was wondering, it would be easier for me to translate from Czech to Slovak, but I am not confident enough to do it into Czech without the possible need of excessive correction.

Hello. Yes The Real Holocaust is a separate website altogether but what is confusing here is that If I'm not wrong some websites have listed same articles (only few), so there is no point to translate them two times. And the PDF/DOC is just fine. I asked Hooded Cobra how he wants the translations organized as he will be the one to receive an archive with all of them and he will organize the websites, from my point of view the doc/pdf is totally ok. Also inserting the images as well is really helpful so when they will create the websites they will know exactly where to insert the images.rereg12 said:

Focus on whatever language you feel more comfortable with, which I gather is probably Slovak. It would be nice to have some translations for both languages, even if the languages we have are similar.

HP Hooded Cobra said the Main JoS will be created first as a website in each language, after which the other smaller ones will follow. If you wish, you can start translating the main one, I might also be able to translate in Czech using DeepL since you are the only translator (I think Polar Bear is doing the Slovak language), but it will be automated and since you are a native Czech, grammar fixing will probably be neccesary but DeepL is overall a really good translator so probably you won't have much headache with it, if you wish to do this. Yeah, I am ready to start with the main website, if you think the upcoming changes are not a reason to wait. The main site has much more complicated layout +many hyperlinks between pages and doing it the docx way would probably pain the person who would be remaking it in the website though. You are right about the updates, better we should wait first to see what HP Hooded Cobra says about the updates. If you need help I can definitely translate into Czech with DeepL in .doc or .docx files so you can download the files and eliminate all errors, I think this might be the easiest way.rereg12 said:
Regarding the hyperlinks, what I've done and others probably done the same, you can simply put the links between paranthesis in front of the hyperlinked text, in your translation file. When members will create the website, they will simply cut the link and insert it as hyperlink in its text on the actual web page.
About PDF JoS, there is the Encyclopedia but also there is a JoS Offline Archive in my signature, but is not in PDF though. What I did was to download the html page of each JoS article, from all websites. All I have left if Blacks for Satan which I need to download as well. You can see images from the Archive here.

Sorry I forgot about this one. I would say yes the affirmations should be translated, same with the instructions on how to pronounce the words. I do the RTRs in my language where both the hebrew words and the affirmations are translated, which for me personally is extremely helpful and important, otherwise I probably had to listen to the mp3s everyday before doing any RTRs. If translating the reversed hebrew letters (i.e, adapting them to your language) is not possible, then the affirmations and instructions alone is totally fine, as long as they are at present tense like in english.rereg12 said:

Thanks for the explanations. Your html archive is very helpfull and well organized actually. Since you already downloaded all the html files, I could translate them using an html editor. This would be even simpler and would also save you the work with transfering the files to docx. The person who will be creating the website later would also probably have an easier time this way and could just rewrite the hyperlinks so they refer to the localized version (correct me if I am wrong here, since I do not have practical knowledge of webdev). What do you think?

Yea I don't have much experience with websites neither. The two websites in my signature were created using a `user-friendly` interface and all kind of settings and options, which required not coding or using html. But yes definitely you can use html files instead of documents as long as they can be stored offline, so we can have offline backup of everything being translated.rereg12 said:

Hello again. I have practically finished translating the main JoS site. I changed the folder names to keep track of what is translated but kept the file names and the original structure of your archive. So please tell me if it will be navigable for someone who does not know Czech. It is basically done but I will still be doing some corrections and now updates with the new content HP Cobra is publishing. Hello. I will try to download the main JoS tomorrow as for some reason it downloads with 15 kb/s and it will take probably at least 30-40 minutes this way if the speed doesn't increase. Tomorrow I will have a bit more time. Also I downloaded the RTR and Yoga files when you posted them. If you need help with translations as I said before I can translate with DeepL into Czech and if is not translating very bad maybe it won't be too troublesome to correct. I downloaded the archive. It works no problem, the pages look perfect. I think all needed now if someone to `transfer` these pages into a website or something because the .html is all done, it only needs to go online. Also is very good that you kept the titles of the .html files in english, that might be neccesary for those who will create the website.rereg12 said:

Great, I can create a blog with that. By the way the PDF at the end of the website is 38 pages long if I remember right, if is too big to translate I can translate it with Deepl and then give it to you for correction if you want. I tried to make it look as much as possible as the english pdf. Please mind all the ads or messages you might see, the platform is safe as far as I can tell. Is no point to upload it on mega since is a one time download.
Also mind the french text in the images, I used the french document so I don't have to create a new one from scratch. The text under the images will be included inside the images after correction. I hope the translations are not too terrible. I added all the colors from the english file so you only need to edit the text with the appropiate corrections and then upload the document back here. I will also do the blogger in Czech. It will look like the ones in my signature.

Hello, thanks for joining. There is already a thread opened in Czech (this one where I quoted you) and translations have been going for months. Rereg12 has translated the entire main website into Czech. The topic that you opened though will be deleted as there is this one for Czech already. I am not updated into this but a website in Czech might already be under construction. He did not login since November so I don't know if he still carried on translating or not, but if you want to start translating you can start a website that is unlikely to have been started already. According to my records websites that haven't been translated in Czech are Black Sun 666, Death of Communism, Exposing Christianity (this version has probably been translated with google long time ago), White Death of Islam, Exposing the Lie of Islam, the RTRs and there might be others. I would say if you can start translating all the RTRs and Rituals it would be great, although is your choice what website to start first.erik_666 said:
