How to develop a strong one? For some people it's easier, for me is a problem.

Earth invocation, but if you not advanced yet then focus on cleaning, breathing exercises where breath is holden like basic yogic breath or alternate nostril breathing. Focus mainly on Void meditation, hatha yoga.

You can add mantras like Aum or Satanama for balancing.

Also isa rune is too but only when you advanced.

These will help to balance and you will be consistent but above all study, for motivation and knowledge you would understand and have passion about consistency - HPHC666 sermons and JoS.

In critical situations isa is very effective for Void meditation and balancing.

I have used it after I read HPHC’a advice on using Isa when it is very needed and I used it more than half of year, it was very helpful.

Alright, you should have clarified that initially because the context was "how to get more discipline/consistency" which is a different matter.

To slow down thoughts and emotions is very helpful in consistency and discipline, I understand consistency as being good in controlling yourself and managing. Using Isa very helps with this for me. This is not different matter. Balancing and slowing down is one of main keys in consistency.

Here needs to be taken in consideration if slowing is required because the rate of flow for thoughts is not constant for all the people.

I know Isa is good when one needs balancing in critical cases this is from HPHC. So I gave this advice and I noted this is for advanced. Even in JoS it’s said Isa is good for void meditation. There is definetly more to it, intention, will, elements disposition and etc etc. I still stay on my opinion that on last case Isa can be used. And balance in making discipline is good.

Yes for everybody is individual for one may work for another not and in different ways.

One has to try what he can and able, and see if it is good for them.

Do not misunderstand here, I am not stating to the contrary, but saying that when giving out advice these seemingly minor details need to be taken into consideration or there will be more misunderstandings down the line when details are not presented properly for newcomers.

I can add, on the physical level, practicing a sport that requires to reach long-term goals helps.
For example running for 5-10 Km in (X) minutes or weight-lifting (X) kg as a goal, help to build consistency as you will need to train many times to reach your goals and you cannot stop training, as you would loose previous training, etc., so you will need to be consistent and persistent.
 
Also you can't build consistency overnight with the entire plan you wish to follow if it's too big.

Start small, go big. Build consistency bit by bit, that's why it is called building, it's trial and error.

Find what breaks your consistence if it happens and start over and over if you must, don't stop.
