i am just after reading on msn news that the dublin diocese report on clerical abuse is going to be published this week and the church is TERRIFIED!! about what is going to happen as a result.

In recent years a series of reports into the catholic church concerning child abuse and institutional abuse in Ireland have been published and they expose the evil, tyrant the catholic church really is

In october 2005 the ferns report was publised and it exposed child abuse by priests there and the cover up by the catholic church.

In june 2009 the ryan report was published and I can tell you it was extremely horrifying to read, my stomach turned it was so bad such horrors done to children and it matters to me because my father was nearly sent to one of these institutions because his father died when he was extremely young. I cannot imagine my father being thrown into one of those institutions and what would have happened to him. HE WAS EXTREMELY LUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!

The dublin diocese report will be published this week and it will break the church down to what it truely is.

I'd read/heard some moths ago that the gov't of Ireland was pulling no punches with the catholic church's pedophile scandals and jumping on them with both feet. I'm glad to see they're following up as promised.

That is sick, and most of these people are sick. They're so opposed to their own sexual urges they think taking it out on a child every now and then will be better served than leading a normal, sexually rewarding life.
