Hi everyone.
Sorry for my bad english
I am a Hindu and I've been reading about Joy of Satan for about a week now,
I want to be a satanist but my parents won't agree with it and I have to worship hindu gods.
Is it possible to worship hindu gods while be a satanist??
Our Gods of Hell are also known as Hindu Gods. They are not two different things. Nor even less things an antithesis. Lilith? Goddess Parvati and Kali! Astaroth? Goddess Ushas! Azazel? God Surya! Beelzebul? God Indra! Satan? Shiva. The Demon Amon? God Rama. Etcetera.
It is really more complex than that actually. My answer is very simplified. The truth is that all these Divine Names and Identity and so on are aspects of a God. For example: Ganesha. He is not really a humanoid elephant with many arms. That is just one aspect. By aspect is meant the (often drawn) representation of an attribute of a God or a value associated with him.
For example, Zeus is an aspect of the Demon Beelzebul. Those who are psychically open and have been able to meet Beelzebul know that he does not really have a white beard, etc. It is only a depiction of an aspect. Sobek is not really a crocodile in Egyptian clothes and Ganesha is not really an elephant. They are depictions.
So yes, you can say you worship Hindu Gods obviously. It is not a lie. Nowadays we talk more about "Judeo-Christian doctrines-style demonology" because the Abrahamic religions have had total dominance for millennia. But now they are becoming more and more irrelevant, so we can stop simply thinking of Valefor as a Demon of the 72 Gothic Demons, etc., and delve into who the Greek God Bellerophon really is and what his mythological story *allegorically* tells. Yes, you worship Hindu Gods. It is not even a lie.
However on your own level, you should try to understand who Surya really is. And then think a little bit about Surya, who is a Sun God, and in fact Surya is a word that really means "sun" and is used for powers related to the sun and is good for cleansing (I use it a lot to cleanse the soul). Azazel in fact has always been known to be a Solar Deity (Surya, but also Shammash, Apollo, etc.).
Or Beelzebul... who is Indra? What is the meaning of Indra's power? What does it mean that he is related to lightning? And from there you understand that the lightning of Indra (or Zeus, Thor, Enlil, and really many others) is a representation of the bioelectricity of the soul (the power of the soul that is), etc.
That you worship Ganesha just because your mother gave you a statue of an elephant without knowing anything about what you are worshiping is useless. You can spend hours and hours chanting about how noble SURYA is.
But Surya does not need to be told how noble he is to be noble. Or you could use the same amount of time to vibrate SURYA for some purpose such as soul cleansing, etc.
